Although, Morris and Mennie were not directly financially gaining from our custom as we were buying the property they have advertised, Tracey went above and beyond to keep us updated in crucial moments of the purchase. She showed a lot of empathy, reassurance and determination maintaining very high level of professionalism. We cannot praise her enough, she is an asset to Morris & Mennie. Brilliant, Friendly Complete Service! We have just completed on the sale of my parents property, with many thanks and gratitude to the team at Morriss & Mennie. Absolutely Great Faultless Service !! Brad came along for the valuation and was very knowledgable about the difficulties within the market at that time. He talked us through our options and after a few previous valuations we decided we would work with Morris & Mennie to market and sell our home. Throughout the process Karen and her team at the Spalding office supported us completely, nothing was too much trouble, chasing & giving good explanations and providing sound answers to some tricky questions about unknown difficulties during the sale. If you are a landlord, Avoid them!! I gave my property to them to manage because I think they are local small company, should be pay more attention to my property and I did have good experience with their sales team before. But i was so wrong. Their rental team is the most un-professional letting agent I know. 1. There is no written contract between me and the agent, although I have asked so many times since day 1, they told me our email conversation is our contract. So you will not be protected from day 1 working with them, especially when something happen. 2. If you are lucky enough that nothing never ever happen, maybe you will not lose money. But as long as anything happen, instead of trying to help you solve the problem, they first push all the responsibility to you, and then try to flee as quick as possible to avoid any responsibility. What happened to me is my previous tenants want to break the contract and leave early. I agreed that if they can find new tenant to replace them I am ok to let them go. The agent release the tenant without signing new tenant but told me they have found one, and new tenant change her mind last minute when old tenant will move out in few days. Then the agent called me telling me the situation and pushed all blame on me saying it is my fault. and refused to find new tenant for me anymore. they were being rude and unreasonable. I still don't understand why they did that. I was so shocked by what they did and only can find new agent to let my property in order to reduce my lose to minimum. They did not apologise no mention pay me any compensation because of their mistake, instead, they charged me management fee from my tenant 'break contract fee'. I should seek for legal help for this matter, but i just so tired of fighting with them and spend more money for their fault. In summary, just avoid them, in the end of the day, it is not all about money anymore, it made you so angry all the time, it is just not worth it.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

We are very pleased with Morris and Mennie’s help with pushing through the sale of my dad’s bungalow. This wouldn’t have happened if Libby hadn’t have taken the reins and helped out our buyer with her estate agents and solicitor, and some of the unreasonable demands being made by her buyer. With Libby’s help, local knowledge of builders and understanding of the surveys being presented, made it easier for our buyer to stand her ground and reject the unreasonable demands. Libby kept me well informed as to the state of the proceedings and offer good advice as to what I should be thinking about next. Libby was also protecting the sale, which I can understand to help reduce the trauma of starting all over again with another buyer. After being let down by our previous estate agents and buyer, we decided to go with Morris and mennie in Spalding to find another buyer for our house. Right from the start we knew we had chosen well. Libby was our agent and was on the ball straight away. She got us all up and running again within a matter of hours and to the same stage in a matter of days, where as before we had been waiting months. Without her help as well as help from Karen when Libby was on annual leave, we wouldn’t of got a house sale through with such a short time frame. Having already tried 2 other estate agents, Karen E had said "why not give us a try?" So end of May 2021 we decided to do just that. The marketing they did for our flat was brilliant and obviously just right as within 2 weeks of signing up we had a viewing booked. We had had no previous viewings!
