Awful company. Avoid! Never buy a home that has anything to do with these people. So disorganised and the craftsmanship is shocking. Broken windows, mould, unaligned doors, damp... the list goes on and they want nothing to do with it! No responses from customer services - DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS. Rowan Park in South London has been beset by build problems plus no new doctor's surgery, no new community hall and the parkland is so poor Merton Council won't take it over. Living hell.

Sam and Josh have been friendly and helpful. Naturally we have had a myriad questions but this has been no bother for them and we haven't felt rushed at any stage. I would happily recommend dealing with them to friends and family.

TrustpilotFailed to meet Fire Regulations
Yet another corrupt and incompetent house builder. My apartment was build so poorly that water ingresses in from every window and water streams in from the balcony when it rains. I have to place buckets down to catch all the water. The block isn't even 4 years old!I had an independent inspector round, what they found was shocking. The block hasn't even been build to fire and damp proofing regulations. Crest ignore all my attempts at contacting them, I know many others on my estate having similar issues. Cowboy outfit, avoid their homes. They may look nice at first, but they aren't built to standard regulations.

Great sales experience. Good initial after care. Sadly 6 1/2 years later we are now caught in the fire safety scandal. Facing huge service charge bills from 24/7 waking watch and the remediation bill.Crest haven’t shared their survey findings with us but agree some cavity barriers were missed. They now refuse to communicate with me even though I’ve never been rude.It’s ruining my financial future. The NHBC warranty isn’t fully paying out. They don’t seem to care now. I can’t sell, it’s a nightmare.

TrustpilotYet another Crest reshuffle
I bought a house from Crest as they used to have a good reputation and have numerous snagging issues (not unusual with new build) however the communication from Crest about their reorganisation has been non existent and what is being done to resolve snagging as a result is completely absent.I appreciate the need to cost cut however no need to cut off customers as well gives impression that once house sold company no longer interested which is sad as the snagging is caused by inattention from the site team which is a company problem and gives rise to loss of reputation which is not a good idea in current times.

Purchased my first property, a new build, 2 years ago however they are still to fix the defects as they promised.They ignore emails and calls. They promise to get back to you but never do. Their contact details are consistently changing. It is evident they do not care about buyers nor the quality of the homes they are selling. I have had to resort to commenting on their social media posts to get their attention. Absolutely ridiculous. I've received better customer service from Caribbean takeaway shops that have run out of food.Buyers, avoid Crest Nicholson if you can. And if you have no other option, keep renting.

I was really happy to start with but unfortunately this is no longer the case. Their customer service is non existent. Once they have your money they just dont care. Their sales people dont have a clue what they are talking about and told me lots of inaccurate facts. My snagging list is still not resolved after 18 months and their doesnt appear to be solution in place to complete the works.Plus your forced to sign up to a maintained company to maintain your estate. This becomes issue after issue, Not only are we currently paying them to do nothing as their is nothing that can be maintained on the estate yet but i have now found out that if you reportage, refinance your house or simply try and sell your house you have to pay them a significant amount of money for them to allow you to do this. It feels like i do not own my own house anymore. Avoid Crest Nicholson it really isnt worth buying one of their houses and make sure you dont sign up for a house that has management fees.
