So on Monday this week, I receive an email from Webbers Managing Director informing us all who signed up for property alerts etc that our personal data has been compromised via 3rd party organisations that are business partners of Webbers. We were promised an update within the next 24 hours? It is now Thursday 20:50pm… Radio silence. Not very reassuring if a Managing Director cannot even be bothered to provide some kind of follow up.

Terrible service from Nathan over the past couple of weeks! Absolutely impossible to book a site view on their Launceston site. Wanted a Saturday visit, but apparently no one there to do it. Tried for a Monday visit, but two days later Nathan had still not come back to me. Running two businesses myself for 25 years now, there is no way I will be dealing with this company going forward. If the service is like this to start with, goodness only knows how I would go on if I had a problem with the NHBC 10 year warranty (Buildmark)!

Such a poor experience when viewing houses with Webbers. Viewed two properties with them, that was enough. They wanted to get in and out of the property within 2 minutes and knew NOTHING about it. May as well of just opened the door and let me look around myself. They even made up answers to my questions which weren't true. It made me feel so deflated. I asked questions which they said they'd get back to me with the answers. They never did and said 'you need to find that out yourself - do you want to make an offer or no?' Felt like some of the properties were already a sealed deal. Thank God my house purchase was with BOP. Used to be reputable but voiced my experience with many fellow locals and they all had their own Webbers horror stories. We were going to use Webbers for a family members property sale next year but not anymore!

We were really pleased with the service we received from Webbers throughout the sale of our house. In a tricky market, the team remained committed and proactive from start to finish, qualities not always found in other agents! They never lost interest or enthusiasm, they kept working hard to move the sale forward, and always kept us informed. We didn’t have to chase for updates, which made what could have been a stressful experience much easier. Lucy, Jake and Sarah showed particular professionalism, persistence and excellent communication which ultimately led to a successful sale. They will definitely be our first choice for future property transactions.

I had made an offer which was accepted and I also received a letter congratulating me, on thre offer being approved. However when I rang to obtain certain paperwork for the property before going ahead of with the exchange with my solicitor. I was told that the property had been sold to someone else within the same week I had my offer approved and was not informed. I felt even more distressed as not only was my mortgage approved, which too tike but I had alao paid for a surveyor, so was at a financial loss aswell. Which caused further stress especially as I'm a first time buyer. Therefore would definitely not use them or recommend to anyone ever. Very poor service, lack of communication, literally don't care about customer and are too much of a hassle. Will go with another estate agent now.

GoogleThis was an older property needing renovation which was being sold but Webbers found a good selection of prospective buyers. I was kept up to date on how things were proceeding and got good answers to any queries that I had as not been responsible for selling a property before so not sure of the procedure. Would recommend Webbers to anyone needing to sell a property, they were efficient and helpful and responded quickly to any changes during the sale.

Communication with Webbers is first class , they are prompt in answering any questions we or our tenants raise , they arrange good contractors for any required jobs . The rent is paid on time & documentation easily to follow. Inspections are thorough with a host of supporting photographs. Changes in tenancy are handled smoothly, again with good communication. Good communication and executions of mandatory certification . Friendly , efficient and approachable staff .

Webbers were incredibly helpful with our house purchase from start to finish. The first house they sent details on was a perfect match to our requirements, and we immediately made an offer "sight unseen" without looking at any other properties. The whole process was more complicated since we were living abroad and had a house to sell, but we were able to move from offer to completion in about 3 months, exchanging contracts after only 2 months. Communication was great every step of the way, despite an 8-hour time difference: we always knew exactly what was going on and were able to contact our agent easily. If I find myself in a position to buy or sell another home, I know exactly where I'm going! Thanks Webbers!

GoogleInitially I was very happy with the experience when renting a property. The agent who was dealing with my case was friendly, very efficient and knowledgeable. The story changed when I wanted to get my deposit back after finishing renting... I was asked by my ex-landlord to wash all the carpets and the curtains by a professional company despite the fact there was nothing in our contract which stated we should have done this. There was also no mention of this throughout our tenancy therefore I was surprised when that was asked of me from an agent before my deposit was released. The telephone conversation with K. was debilitating; the agent sounded annoyed with me; friendliness from the beginning was gone. I was shocked when she asked me to 'donate' some money towards carpet cleaning as she said: "this is how we do things here". At that moment I wanted to ask whether she meant it's because I'm not from Devon or even England and don't know 'how things are done'. I 'donated' the money as I was afraid that if I won't, there will be more problems occurring and at this point I needed my deposit money back. Maybe some additional customer handling training could be of benefits.
