They go 'above and beyond'

My main concern, being the Executor of a close friend's estate, was the sale of the property. Fortunately, the recommendation from Emma Chance to use the services of D M & Co. proved to be very sound advice. What a great team they are! Even allowing for a few 'hiccups' in the early days of the sale, due to Probate being involved, my main contacts proved to know exactly how to handle the situation with their professionalism, knowledge, and communication skills. Ann Wood's help in re-negotiating with the prospective purchaser proved to be invaluable and allowed the sale of the house to proceed. Thank you, Ann. My main contact then was Victoria Stuart who was tireless in liaising with the purchasers, their Solicitors, and indeed, my Solicitors thus keeping me up-to-date with proceeding until the magical conclusion 'Contracts exchanged and sale completed' So many thanks to you too, Victoria.Not sure when I will need the services of an Estate Agent again but if, and when, the situation arises there is only one name in the frame... Just brilliant!

I decided to give DM & Co in Dorridge a try as Lisa was friendly, knowledgeable and honest on a achievable sale price.Matt was my sales guy and what a brilliant young man he is! He went through the process of what to expect & seemed genuinely excited to sell my parent’s property. Between him & Alex (shout out to him too) potential buyers were shown round, who were in a position to buy and before long a sale agreed.I was then handed over to Lynne in Sales Progression. An all round superstar as it was not an easy sale & fell through at the 11th hr after a ridiculous reduction was demanded from the ‘buyer’. I pulled out.Back to Matt to remarket. Totally unphased he told me not to worry. He was right. A few days later a sale was agreed and a higher price achieved. The sale was quick & fairly smooth with Lynne liaising all the way.A few months later we decided to sell our home slightly out of DM’s usual area. I didn’t hesitate to call DM & Co.Again Lisa was great and Matt was my Sales Negotiator. Just over 48hrs after going ‘live’ a sale was agreed. Again this was a tough sale & Lynne worked tirelessly to juggle all the balls in the air to smooth the way. It was a stressful time but Lynne was fantastic to me and we got there in the end. Thank you lovely lady!I’ve used DM & Co twice in under a year. They’ve sold 2 houses for a very satisfactory price, achieving sales quickly. They’re very competitive in their pricing and there’s no one within the company that I’ve spoken to who hasn’t been anything other than courteous and lovely.For me, Matt and Lynne have been outstanding, I can’t thank them enough. Their unwavering faith that we’ll achieve the end goal is reassuring to say the least and they kept their word, twice! I wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend them.Thanks to everyone involved. We used DM & Co Premium to sell our house in Solihull. They were fantastic from start to finish. Elaine represented us and conducted all viewings personally and although we had some challenges due to the moving market trends she got us through them with good humour and professionalism. We have bought and sold several houses in Solihull over the last 20 years and working with Elaine and the DM & Co team was honestly the best experience to date. I would highly recommend them. Selling houses is a stressful experience and using DM & Co certainly limited this for us.

Really happy with the service I received from the sales team at DM&co especially Victoria Stuart who knew what I was looking for in a property, emailing me new properties matching my list of wants frequently before they hit Rightmove, responding to my queries very quickly and just being really helpful, kind and approachable at the viewing stage and when putting an offer in. Absolutely everything you need in an Estate Agent

As some other clients have alluded too, we also had a bit of a bumpy ride due to the current market, and it wasn't plain sailing for us either. However(!), Ann Wood, Senior Negotiator at DM & Co. was absolutely brilliant throughout and she made it happen for us. She was really responsive (even on days off... and in evenings (sorry Ann)), was polite, professional, compassionate and kept my husband and I calm throughout. Recently ended my tenancy at a 2 bed apartment in dorridge. Im not one to make a fuss but on the first inspection i mentioned the stats and boiler were not working to a point where i needed to have the heating on full 100% of the time or off 100% of the time, with a young child this is challenging and costly gas bills. The shower screen allowed water to pass so the main bathroom wasnt usable. To start with a plumber came and confirmed the issues but 2 years later after being reminded and a few phone calls in between nothing ever got fixed. I then left leaving the apartment spotless apart from a small chip in the skirting board and a small crack in a plastic fridge tray. They tried to charge me £440 for everything you can imagine a smear on the mirror for example. Stupidly i offered £150 to the deposit scheme and it was accepted. They visited taking pictures far too often and once my notice was given every few days a call asking to come and take pictures etc. all they seem to care about is the landlord, money and getting it let out asap no care for tennants. Take pictures of everything and be prepared for visit after visit phone call after phone call.

Great to work with Elaine Birkley (DM&Co Dorridge)

I have been interacting with Elaine Birkley of the Dorridge DM&Co office over the last few weeks and have been impressed with the way in which she has represented her client(s) and the firm.My wife and I found Elaine to be commercially minded and willing to suggest or welcome ideas about approach to different aspects of the property. We liked the property that we saw the first time round, but adored it even more after Elaine offered and granted us a second visit.We are grateful for the professional insights, courtesy and time that she extended to us over weeks that we were in contact with one another.Having said the above, Elaine is also robust (although definitely not in a hard ball / hard sell way) in speaking on behalf of her client(s) and was very firm with what would / wouldn’t be acceptable. She was also persistent in chasing me down for responses (admittedly I’m not the best at picking up calls / texts throughout the day!), but crucially she was never overbearing or aggressive. Per above, I highly recommend Elaine and would know who to appoint if my wife and I were to sell our main residential property.
