GoogleI cannot begin to explain the unprofessionalism of this company, 1 star is more than generous but 0 isn’t an option. If i could advise you of anything, run in the opposite direction of this place. We had a 6 month tenancy with them, by 5 months we left because of the experience. We spent the entire 5 months going back and forth about bins. At first, because none were supplied, then we were told to get them ourselves, then they changed their mind. Once we finally got these bins they failed to arrange collection of the bins so in the 5 months we lived there they were collected maybe a handful of times, i’d say imagine the state but i’ve attached pictures so you don’t have to. There was an infestation of flies and god knows what else for MONTHS and not a single thing was done about it. In fact they said they were going to charge us for not putting rubbish in bins despite the bins having been full for months by this point as well as around them. The company communicate via text which I don’t see a problem with, but if you’re going to do this at least make sure they are professional messages and that the agents writing them can at least spell. What was a lovely property was ruined by the abysmal management this agents had over it, if the agent had a brain he’d find someone else to let his property.

The lady who answered the phone when I called with my queries was extremely rude and unprofessional, showing a lack of basic manners. Based on this experience, I don’t feel comfortable dealing with this company. It’s important for businesses to treat people respectfully, and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

Initially, they assured me that my wage was sufficient for the desired apartment, but after I provided the deposit, they began avoiding my calls, imposing unexpected requirements, and threatening to withhold my deposit despite providing inaccurate information. This ordeal left me feeling deeply distressed and anxious, to the point of tears. Luke's actions were not only misleading and dishonest but also malicious. The entire experience has engendered a profound sense of disappointment and resentment towards both him and the company.

Firstly all rental applications are dealt with the same minimum documents required for all tenants applying: 3 Months bank statements, 3 Months wage slips, Photographic ID and Completed application form. Rents are extremely high at the moment, on this instance the affordability check failed for the property and as such we requested extra documents/ security to prove you could afford the property. The last thing is to have someone go into financial difficulties. No payments were made to us from Gafar Kudirat, however we refunded a holding payment made by third party, which was again an issue throwing financial doubt into the application. We always look to work with every applicant to get them their property. On this instance we could not proceed and again no payments withheld. If you would like to discuss this further please dont hesitate to contact us.

GoogleI rented my house with Urban City and would advise landlords and tenants to STAY AWAY.
The rent is never paid on time. You will constantly have to chase them, sometimes being ignored for months. No inspections will be carried out, money will be deducted for so called 'repairs' which are never needed/carried out.
The branch manager Anil attempted to forge invoices to make extra money on the side in desperation. When confronted he will cry to you profusely and apologise.
The owner is no less and only apologised for his staffs misconduct and rude behaviour when I threatened to go to the ombudsman.
Do not trust the false reviews from 1 review accounts. I would advise tenants and landlords who have been victims to get in touch with the Property Redress Scheme (PRS) to report this agent so they won't scam vulnerable tenants/landlords in future.

I am really saddened to hear that you are not happy with the services received; in response to your review we feel this isn’t fair/accurate:
-The UK went into national lockdown and regrettably your property got vacated during this period April/May 2020, as we were classed as non-essential services we thus had to close offices, which you were informed of.
-The tenant then dropped the keys back to the office when government announced Estate agents can open.
-When you came by the office we spoke in great detail, I informed you that the tenants are liable up to the point you collected the keys.
Moving forward I am still happy to help you in this regard, if you can bring along your bills we can sort this for you.

GoogleI rang up on Monday to book a viewing at a property that was up for rent. They booked me in for later that afternoon. Nearer the time, I rang up to double check that the viewing was still going ahead to which I was told that they needed to get in touch with the Landlord before they could hold viewings. I said this was fine and to contact me again to either confirm that the viewing was going ahead as planned or to rearrange a viewing for another day. I did not hear anything after this so assumed the viewing was cancelled and was being rearranged. After a week of no response, I rang again to see if I could rearrange a viewing. I rang today and before I had a chance to finish my sentence, the lady abruptly stated that the property had already been let. I explained the situation regarding my previous booked viewing and she just responded 'well, I dunno.' I found this to be extremely rude and unprofessional and would very much avoid future correspondence with them!!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
