GoogleThis place looks great, really good quality of construction and managing team are amazingly friendly, but it’s not safe or peaceful for relaxing at home. Kids scream a lot at the garden spots, and their games mess up the grass and landscape. In a few years, it won’t be as nice. The ice cream truck is loud every day (20-30 minutes, a few times), so you can’t hear your TV, even with windows closed. The walk from the station to Horlick is only six minutes, but you might get robbed there. There have even been problems in Horlick, not just on the road.

GoogleWorking with The Berkley Group whilst purchasing my 1 bed apartment at the Horlicks Factory was an exceptional experience from start to finish, and much of that is thanks to the incredible people I had the privilege of working alongside, Izzy, Ellie, Saied, and Cameron.
From day one, the team fostered an environment that felt both highly professional and genuinely supportive and welcoming.
Each person brought something unique to the table: Izzy’s infectious spirt and clarity, Ellie’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail, Saied’s insight and problem-solving mindset, and Cameron’s collaborative spirit and excellent bow making stills😊. Together, they created a dynamic that made information clear rather than overwhelming.
What truly set this experience apart was how valued and heard I felt. The Berkley Group proactively practiced open and honest communication. My Ideas were welcomed and there was a real sense of mutual respect that made the process both meaningful and enjoyable for my daughter and I.
I walked away not only feeling valued but also with a deep appreciation for the culture and people who represent The Berkley Group and with their efforts make it what it is today.
Collaborating with this team was inspiring, motivating, and honestly a pleasure. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Berkley Group to anyone looking to purchase a property at the Horlicks Factory, Slough.

GoogleI have split the review by numbered lists, but is incomplete. I will finish it in due course as I can edit it later.
1) The corner flat is the coldest part of my home because it's more exposed to the wind during the winter. The living room struggles to stay warm due to large windows and a balcony. To make matters worse, the radiator is positioned at least 3 meters away from the windows, making it insufficient to maintain a comfortable temperature during the coldest months. As a result, I have to use at least two additional heaters in the living space to stay warm, which isn't energy-efficient.
If we do the math, the largest radiator consumes around 2000W, and with the current average energy price of 0.245p per unit, running it for 12 hours could cost up to £5.88. If I factor in all the heaters in the house, the costs add up quickly. To compensate for the heat loss through the windows, I have to set the temperature higher, which forces the heater to work harder to try heat the space evenly. Unfortunately, the smart radiator doesn’t help much. I get annoyed with the error message saying it "detects window open". The bathroom heater is also frustrating because it takes ages to heat up, and you can't even set a timer for when you want it to warm the room.
I’ve raised multiple complaints about this issue with the Berkeley Group. The most recent complaint was with Melanie last January, who told me that someone would look into it. However, a month later, I discovered through customer service that the complaint hadn’t even been logged. While I understand that Melanie works in sales, I don’t know why she offered to have someone to look into it despite it not being her responsibility. In March, another salesperson came to inspect my property, but by then, I didn't see the point coming because the environment is so different during the winter. After that, I had to chase customer service for an outcome, and their response was disappointingly generic, stating that the EPC rating is C. So what? The heating is inadequate, and they don’t live here to experience it. Overall, that woman gives me that vibe I don’t like.
Additionally, the floor is colder if you live beneath a water tank or near the bin storage, as these rooms have doors with open slits, allowing cold air to seep through. This means you don’t benefit from heat rising to your floor. My floor was around 13/14 degrees at that time when I last measured it. If you want the most sunlight, your best bet is a south-facing unit, but then you have the problem of it getting too hot during the summer, especially since you can’t open the windows wide enough.
2) I don't understand why the Berkeley Group is acting like a police patrol, going behind RMG's (our concierge) back to send me emails demanding that I remove my privacy screen. If they have an issue with me, why not address it directly? I installed the privacy screen to reduce the wind coming through the windows and to prevent people from looking into my home. Every now and then there is always something going outside during the night.
The RMG Manager, who told me I should have known about this because it's in the contract, which contains over 30 rules. I discovered this information when I had to pay a solicitor during the sales process. It’s frustrating to spend money on a solicitor just to find out these details. They should make the regulations available on their website, so I would have made a better informed decision without paying for a solicitor.
The worst case I’ve heard was when someone was asked to take down a plastic windmill they had hanging on their balcony for their child. It's hard to believe that someone from Berkeley would be so petty and low to make an issue out of something so harmless.

GoogleI have lived here for 18 months and I couldn't be happier. I love my apartment, plenty of storage lovely kitchen and bathrooms finished to a high standard. All the neighbours I have met are really nice and it feels like there is a real sense of community. I love the facilities and often use the cinema room and co working space. The concierge team are so friendly and helpful (I cannot believe anyone has said they are rude as they a have only ever been friendly to me) the grounds and communal areas are well kept and the location. Is amazing for hybrid working in London. Highly recommended.
The only thing I would change is to have more visitor parking

GoogleI recently moved into Horlicks Quarter. I think it's the best place in Slough and I am new to Horlicks, but the cleaners say hello to me every day and Ali and Elias are very helpful in the reception area. I haven't tried the cinema, but it looks amazing and I've used the gym a few times already.

GoogleHorlicks Quarters: A Disappointing Reality
For a hefty £2k monthly rent for a 2BHK Horlicks Quarters promises upscale living, but the reality is far from it. While the facilities might initially seem appealing, the mismanagement is glaring.
Living here for the past 2.5 years on rent. (£2k a month with parking, it's hugely expensive 💸 ) Though the facilities are good, the way they are managed is worse. They had given a large building to the council which has no parking. People park on the road around leaving no space for residents to reach on the main road.its beautiful gardens are open spaces but these days they are heaven for drug dealers and people smoking weed. Reported multiple times to concierge and local police, they didn't do anything. Earlier, there used to be some security guys hired by Berkeley but now for around a year ago, they stopped (probably to save money and charge huge amounts for very small flats) Lot of thefts happening around, people breaking car windows. My own car was damaged by someone and when I asked security for camera recordings, they said their cameras were faulty. On the stoke poges road near the bridge while coming from Salt hill park, you can see a few prostitutes who are obviously down with illegal substances. A few weeks ago, I was walking down from the Salt hill park with my wife and son and one of the prostitutes asked me if I wanted her services. What a shame to live in these apartments but surrounded by such people and crimes. No one should raise their kids in these apartments due to the bad surroundings and influence of druggies. I'm moving out from this place as soon as I find another place away from this development and Slough. If this could have been a gated community, it would have been one of the best places to live.
While the potential for a luxurious lifestyle existed, Horlicks Quarters has fallen short due to poor management, security lapses, and a deteriorating neighborhood. It's disheartening to see such a beautiful development compromised by these issues.

GoogleHere you buy a one bedroom apartment, trusting that there won't be a family with children above you, so all the apartments above yours are one bedroom. Then to your surprise, there is a family with children! You complain about the overcrowded flat and nuisance to the concierge and they say can't hear any noise from there.
The apartments have no windows or sound insulation walls. Some people try to steal your car and the alarm goes off often. So the concierge does nothing. No security. Also if something unusual happens in the building they chase you and your neighbours calling you asking if you were responsible for it!
If you try to ask or report something to concierge staff some of them are completely unhelpful, rude even with bad attitude so you escalate to the staffs manager so he starts raising his voice at you, interrupting you then you escalate again and what happens? You are ignored, besides you are compulsory paying a lot for the service charge.
This is what happens if you buy an apartment in Horlicks Quarter. Avoid.

GoogleBeen to look, avoid, there is no parking anywhere, you will have to sell your car ir park it 20min away where car crime is high. Also built up mainly of partition walls so feels like a card board box. High speed rail and busy main road well over priced, if yiu buy house share you will struggle to sell on. And let's not mention additional ground rent on top of mortgage and high utilities. Do not entertain this.
