GoogleDiana found using Ted George extremely useful because they are local to the property being sold. This meant they were always on hand to deal with viewings and issues arising immediately. The majority of contact was with Rob, however the whole team were very courteous, knowledgeable and responded to communications promptly. GoogleI was beyond disappointed with Ted George Estate agents. I rented a property and it was a hellish experience. Primarily neither Ted George nor the owners believed they were managing the property and I as the tenant was left with the consequences. My 4 year old daughter and I had no hot water and heat for 2 months, no dishwasher for 3 months, no washing machine for 2 weeks over Christmas, no use of the master bedroom for 3 months due to damp, paid for gardening for a garden that wasn't used. The list goes on. After leaving I still could not get a clear answer on who was meant to be managing this property. As a multiple rental property owner I am shocked and scared of this ambiguity, not just was it a nightmare for a tenant ( who paid on month every time) but with the wrong tenant this could lead to disastrous circumstances. I still can't fathom failing to do proper checks and renting out a home on a long term tenancy with no hot water or heating working. And between both the estate agent and owner deflecting, defending and gas lighting I was made to feel like all the issues such as dodgy plumbing were somehow I the tenants fault. I found them dishonest.
We are sorry and surprised to hear that you think we have been gas lighting you. The property you rented is in the grounds of the landlord's house and as such, although we were managing your tenancy, you contacted the landlord's staff directly to resolve issues without us knowing. We then asked you to let us know of any issues you faced moving forward which you did. Although the landlord and we told you that we were managing the property, because the landlords and their staff are so close by it's easy to see how this could be confusing so we apologise for this. We attended quickly to all issues we were made aware of (you can see me in the picture you posted attending to your broken washing machine out of hours). As for the garden, it was agreed in the terms of the contract that you would pay the landlord's gardener for keeping the garden which you agreed to do, you had full and private use of the garden and you weren't restricted from using it. You were offered a rent reduction by the landlord to compensate you for the issues you faced during your tenancy which you accepted.

GoogleJames and his amazing team at Ted George make letting my house so easy! The tenants are always suitable for my quirky property, and tenant changes are handled seamlessly. Most importantly, the property is always tenanted. If anything needs fixing at the property we agree a plan of action, and the team is onto it immediately, engaging and liaising with the best people for the job, and often visiting the property to do small tasks themselves. I don’t have to do anything! I am genuinely delighted that the experienced and cheerful team at Ted George are looking after my property, and I would recommend their letting services to anyone.
