THIS FIASCO STARTED IN AUGUST 2021 UNTIL FEBRUARY 2022.DO NOT USE REEDS RAINS HOLDERNESS ROAD HULL, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TOLD LIES, YOUR INSTRUCTIONS IGNORED AND DENIED YOU TOLD THEM, YOUR PROPERTY LEFT UNSAFE. Quite happy to see you homeless

I Agreed on a let with the Bamber Bridge office for a property in Bamber Bridge. I completed the application process and paid the admin fees. I gave notice on my current property and arranged a transfer of utilities etc.2 weeks before my moving date, they advised the landlord had changed his mind and cancelled my application. The olive branch was an offer of a property £300pcm more expensive.I'm now scrambling try to find somewhere to live as i'm working away next week and which leaves me a week before i'm homeless.Thanks for nothing.

To day I received a phone call from Reeds Rains the young lady was inquiring for a tenant or theirs that had a ceiling leak from my flat, I told her that I had plumber with me about that and that we had blanked the water off and would she mind if I call her back after we had organized the work, She said NO! and i find you very rude! I then said if you find that rude you will find it ruder when I cut you off Good bye!Footnote I find the level of service totally unacceptable. Ps I did call back giving a more pleasant lady the information they required.

Guisborough Reeds Rains - Fantastic!

Thoroughly recommend Guisborough Reeds Rains, the help and advice they gave us as first time buyers was brilliant! The girls in the Guisborough branch were always on hand keeping us on the right track at every turn, from searching for a property, processes, solicitors & arranging mortgage appointments. We felt like we were treat like family which made the whole process as first time buyers a lot better, would definitely look to use them again if ever needed.

AVOID REED RAINS- DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE

The lady called Cheryl at the Coventry Branch is disrespectful and rude. Inspite of me emailing the company regarding the cancellation to view a property, I was bitterly told off on the 2nd of Jan and threatened to be removed from Reed Rains Database by her. I did tell her that I had emailed the company on the night of the 24th Dec that I wouldnt view the property. If I had the email id or contact number of the owner I would have done it but I ATLEAST emailed the company for cancellation and apologised. Cheryl however did not like it obviously as she has probably never cancelled any appointment in the pandemic 2020 year and paid no heed to my apologetic email either. Got a call from her today which was revengeful for not viewing the property and threatened to remove me from the data base. I did think of calling and speaking to her but this is not worth my time in the NEW YEAR. Is this really the way to attract potential buyers???Edit: Mr Neil Price: I am not Cheryl. I was sincerely hoping you atleast read the review and addressed me correctly! She is the person who called me and spoke to me in a very rude manner on the 2nd of Jan and is based in your Coventry office I did apologise and did send an email. It is not the matter of life and death if I couldnt attend the viewing due to personal reasons but I still tried to inform your office. I was on annual leave as well but still picked up office emails during the holiday season and was aniticipating some one from your office to do the same. I understand your client was upset but that doesnt mean just because i did not attend the viewing, Cheryl had the authority to speak to me in that tone. I am surprised that you dont train your staff with basic manners and feel free to have a go at any one. Seriouly poor service.

Selling my house with Reeds Rains

I requested Reeds Rains, Middlesbrough to sell my house. Andy came to view the house and explained the different options. I chose to go down the auction route.I'm so glad I did. I asked him to recommend a solicitor. He did and said they would contact me shortly, which they did.The whole process of selling the house was painless and Carol kept me informed and updated throughout.The house was actually sold before even going to auction and within 28 days so the whole transaction was completed before Christmas.The service was completely painless and utterly professional.I have used Reeds Rains in the past to manage a letting property I owned, so I had no reservations about using them again.

Fully managed service-I let my property…

Fully managed service-I let my property with Reeds Rains just over 12 months ago, I have since had nothing but issues with them, they never respond to emails, when you do call to speak to someone they are rude towards you, to the point where I received an email from a manager apologising for their member of staff behaviour, then they give you incorrect costly information, they are happy to pay themselves but not the landlord. I would avoid using these at all costs.I would like to add that I have had to escalate my complaint and still I am receiving any responses from this company. Please do not use them to manage your rental property.

Outstanding Customer Service …

I cannot fault the excellent service that I received from the staff at the Holmes Chapel branch of Reed Rains, especially Tallulah-Mae.Although in the end I did not actually use their branch to purchase a property, their help and advice on a number of occasions was not only very professional but delivered unconditionally. I could highly recommend them as not only being ethical but very friendly and sincere in their approach to customer service.

Never rent from ReedsRains!

Never rent from ReedsRains!Their fragmented departments make it impossible at times to get any fluidity to responses. Constantly late in terms of dealing with return of payments, they often mis-calculating amounts and show a complete lack of empathy with any issues raised. Their Hub is particularly bad at customer service and I feel they are only out to get as much money out of you as possible. They prefer you to over pay then claim reimbursement, however getting the money back is an absolute nightmare. At branch level they complete dismiss responsibility and tell you to contact the faceless Hub if you have issues. Both these elements of the business do not seem to be well coordinated at all. Maintenance issues are not dealt with promptly.They often shun responsibility and you end up chasing your tail trying to get an answer. Horrible company with terrible morals!I would honestly never take a house rented by them under any circumstance again.

Reeds Rains Wrexham. If I could give zero stars here I would. Currently renting a property via this Agent and are treated with a complete lack of courtesy and in fact disdain. Correspondence is completely un-professional , abrupt and to be frank rude.Reeds Rains, the rent gets paid on time every month, the property is kept in superb condition, by us, and has been cleaned (it was filthy) and improved by us, your second class citizen customer.Maybe some staff training could improve this but I would simply avoid if possible.

Every year poor services of maintenance!!!

Every year we have to leave a poor review to this maintenance company!!!! It takes literally days to come and contact you in regards of fixing your watter issues (some very old boiler broken)!!! And then it takes them some more additional days to have someone available to come and check, because their availability is not OK when it is for you too.... And if you tell them 3x times you are not available on the evening when they call you (after days have passed), they keep on pushing it as they would be literally deaf!!!! And we have this little process every year 2 or 3x times... Because the boiler is suuuuuuper baaaaad and oooooold!!!! Very poor quality and extremely old!!! The company suuuuper ruuude!!!! Other then that they could just put a proper boiler but hey hey... They do not want to....So very very upset about the quality of their services!!!!

To determine our home's value for sale, I completed a Zoopla form that forwarded our information to several local estate agents for valuation. Reeds Rains Cheadle branch contacted me by phone and gathered personal details and property information during a seven-minute call. They scheduled an appointment a few days later. However, I received a subsequent call indicating they could only value the property if it was listed immediately.In summary, they collected all necessary information but failed to achieve the primary objective, resulting in a waste of time and unprofessional behaviour on their part.

Reeds Rains - horrible experience and they will cheat you!

I dealt with Macclesfield branch as a landlord. They will be very nice to you and get you sign a contract with vague contract. They will make sure they don’t tell you important information. In my case I wanted to end fully managed contract as a landlord after tenancy agreement was ended and they asked me to pay full months rent as an exit fee. They have this clause in contract that you do have to pay exit fee but the whole contract is written as if it all applies for tenure of tenancy agreement, and that’s where they will cheat you!!! I had to pay money to come out of contract since property ombudsman is useless and takes month to reply. My advice is to make sure you ask them to write down very clearly about any exit clause but rather not use them because they cheat you through their terms

Slow, misrepresentative and poor attitude

I’m in the process of trying to rent a flat through this company and the level of service hasn’t been great. The listing for a studio shows a 1-bed and gives a studio rent; the virtual tour is the same. I’ve asked repeatedly for an application form and they’re dragging their heels with providing this to me. I love the property and I want to move there as soon as I can but the way the company has acted so far is seriously making me want to look elsewhere. The attitudes of the letting negotiators and agents are also really poor considering I’m eligible, eager and highly interested.

I cannot speak highly enough about the excellent treatment I was given by Reeds Rains Evesham branch. Jeremy and Jack were so helpful during the whole experience, not only during this covid time but I also lost my partner and was left on my own. They helped me so much even before they reopened the office and sold my property to the first viewers and got me the full asking price. Wow how was that. All done in about five weeks. Moving in two weeks. Could not ask for more. Well done Evesham!
