GoogleMy experience was amazing. At the beginning of my tenancy my deposit was protected. Communication was seamless with Prop home in responding to emails and phone calls. Repairs was handled efficiently. One time there was a power outage in the building it was sorted almost immediately with a follow up email same day.
Jack Henley is very responsive and maintained professionalism. He helped me get back my deposit which was paid to my account after my tenancy ended.

GoogleAvoid like the black plague!
This is the worst rental agency I have ever been with.
They will harass you for rent payments ON THE MORNING OF THE DAY THE RENT IS DUE, and leave your complaints about the disrepair of the apartment languishing in their inbox.
You can try to contact them to rectify issues, but if you get through, you will be met with an empty acknowledgement. They will not actually do anything about it.
We have had a leak coming from the above apartment(s) for months on end, now, and notified them when it first occurred. The leak has extended itself across the ceiling and regularly drips into our bathroom. Not only is this a structural issue, but also a health issue. We don't know if this is waste water or not.
Yet they'll still send us "rent payment reminder" e-mails every month on the morning rent is due. Without fail.
Rent from Prop Home if you want a comprehensive understanding what feudalism felt like for the serfs.

GoogleAbsolute disgrace of an agency - incompetent, evasive and untrustworthy.
I reported serious problems from April 2025 (blocked sink, no hot water, mould, ants, then a cockroach infestation in the communal hallways, no WiFi, faulty fridge/freezer) and this is how Prop Home behaved:
1. As soon as I asked for repairs they told me “the landlord doesn’t have money” - but we can raise your rent so it can be paid for. Unbelievably tone-deaf and unacceptable.
2. They constantly fobbed me off with DIY fixes and excuses (use drain unblocker, wait, someone will “look”) while the problems continued.
3. When contractors did attend it was tokenism - a photo visit or foam in gaps that did nothing to fix the infestation or unblock the sink.
4. They produced a June “inspection” saying everything was fine, despite my written reports before and after that date - clearly sloppy or dishonest.
5. Months of chasing were met with vague promises, cancellations and silence. No meaningful repairs were completed.
6. In the end they walked away from managing the property, leaving me to deal directly with a landlord I’d never spoken to - abandoning their duty to tenants.
Their communication was gaslighting-level bad: blaming building management, telling me to prove things, and suggesting rent increases instead of taking responsibility.
If you value your health, sanity and basic decency, avoid Prop Home. They are incompetent, irresponsible, and will leave you to pick up the pieces.

After leaving this review, Prop Home emailed me directly asking me to reconsider or remove it despite having already told me in writing that their management had ceased and they “were unable to communicate with me further” when I asked for information on how they were handling the matter with the landlord.
When it came to dealing with legitimate issues, they were “unable to communicate.” But when it came to protecting their reputation, suddenly they could. That says more about Prop Home than I ever could 😬. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THiS AGENCY.

This was an existing tenancy with long-standing maintenance problems. When Prop Home took over management in April 2025, we immediately received 10 separate reports for historic issues, meaning we walked into a pre-existing mess from day one. Many of these matters could only have been resolved through genuine cooperation between tenant and landlord.
Our team acted promptly and repeatedly to address every concern, but the landlord refused to fund essential works, leaving both the tenant and our staff in an impossible position. As an ethical and professional property management company, Prop Home operates a zero-tolerance policy towards non-compliant landlords. Accordingly, we terminated management and that relationship ended on 1st October 2025, one of the shortest tenures in our history, precisely because the landlord failed to meet their legal and moral responsibilities.
It’s disappointing to see our company criticised for circumstances entirely caused by landlord neglect. All actions were fully documented. The issues pre-date our involvement, and we were brought in to professionalise a situation that was already failing. When it became clear that neither party would engage constructively, we withdrew.
We also note that three further one-star reviews appeared simultaneously from individuals with no connection to our business, suggesting coordinated or vindictive activity. These reviews are inaccurate and we are taking formal steps to have them removed.
Prop Home remains committed to tenant welfare, professional standards, and ethical management, and this case stands as an example of why we refuse to represent landlords who fall short.

GoogleThis agency is a scam. They take almost 70% of your deposit for small things. My apartment was flooded due to plumbing issue and they have done nothing, there was mold for weeks and damp smell, I had to leave the place cause of their incompetence and charged me to clean all that. We are disappointed to read this review, which does not accurately reflect the facts of this tenancy.
The deposit dispute was considered by an independent adjudicator through the tenancy deposit scheme. Both parties were given the opportunity to submit evidence, including our independent check-in and check-out reports. A formal adjudication decision was issued by the Government back tenancy deposit protection scheme and any deductions were made in line with that independent decision, not by Prop Home. We are bound by these rules. It is primarily there to protect tenants.
We also reject the allegation that maintenance concerns were ignored. We have full records of the issues reported during the tenancy and the steps taken in response.
We take all complaints seriously and deal with them through the proper process. This matter has already been reviewed independently in full. Anyone who reads this review should check prophome.co.uk and check the credentials of our company which can be seen in the footer of the website
