The service and commitment from Hunters was second to none, went above and beyond to make my sale go as quickly and as smoothly as was possible, we encountered some hurdles along the way but nothing was too much trouble and they always found a solution, Especially Lauren who couldn't have done any more for me, you are lucky to have someone like her working for you, 100% committed from start to finish, can't fault her in the slightest, with out her I don't think we would have reached completion as soon as we did. Thankyou Lauren, you were a star. Couldn't recommend Hunters highly enough, professional from first viewing to final signature, it was never about the money, always about personal service 10 out of 10 from me. Steve

We recently bought our first home through Hunters and had such a positive experience. Despite being our vendors agent, not ours, Lauren Armstrong was extremely helpful with providing us advice as first time buyers and providing us with information, often more and quicker than our own solicitors that we were paying £2000 for! Due to some of our own confusion and inexperience of buying a property, the sale wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Lauren and we wouldn't be living in our first home now. If and when it comes time to move, we'd certainly use Hunters to sell if Lauren is still around.

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Unfortunately our sale fell through due to issues with the buyers but within a week, Hunters put our house up on the market again, conducted several viewings and got us to best and final offers ending up with a new sale above the original asking price. Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Awful customer service

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

illegal procedures - 1 bed property Sparks Close (Terrible Agent & Terrible Landlord)

1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self
