So happy we chose Hunters to sell our childhood home after losing mum and dad. From the first meeting with Stephen I felt we would be looked after throughout the process. Joanne was in touch with regular updates and any queries were answered fully and promptly. If Joanne wasn't available Sophie or Lauren were there to help. Unfortunately our first buyer messed us about which was very upsetting but Joanne was amazing, reassuring us and had it back on the market within an hour. A second buyer was found within a very short time. I can highly recommend Hunters and would like to thank Joanne and the team for their kindness, compassion and professionalism throughout.

It is years since I last moved house and I quickly discovered that it is a whole new ball game, but thanks to Joanne and her team, I managed to negotiate all the hurdles and am now happily settled in my new home. They gave me excellent guidance and support during the whole process. I received very regular updates, so I felt that I was always in the loop. I always knew how things were progressing and what the next steps would be, which kept me grounded and ensured that my expectations remained realistic at all times. I was very well prepared for the final stages of the process (exchange of contracts and completion) which went so much more smoothly than I could ever have imagined. I couldn't have expected more. One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Could not reccomend Hunter's woodseats more! We had a house that was taking way longer than expexted due to multiple issues with land registry and solicitors of other properties, but the team were fantastic during this time. Joanne and Sophie were particularly helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Serena, our mortgage advisor, was also very helpful and made sure that process moved along smoothly. Hunters were so, so good throughout the whole process of selling my house. If I could give them more than 5 stars here, I would. I don’t think I’d have managed to sell my house with another estate agent. Right from the start, the person who came to do the valuation was really friendly and professional, and their valuation was accurate and fair. Later, when my first buyer withdrew, Sophie found me another buyer from the people who had come to view the house literally within 10 minutes. Sophie also went the extra mile to find out exactly why they had pulled out, meaning I was able to factor their feedback into the second sale. When my second buyer was showing signs of wavering, Jo did everything she could to keep the sale going. She told me exactly what I needed to do to keep things moving forwards. For example, Jo found me a private surveyor I could use to challenge some of the inaccurate things that had been included in another surveyor’s report. Then there was a really significant problem with the house I wanted to buy, which ended up delaying the sale by about 3 months. Jo was incredible throughout this really stressful period. She kept everyone in the chain informed about what was going on and ultimately ensured the sale went ahead. By contrast, my solicitor was apathetic, obstructive and uncommunicative, so it was really great to have someone sympathetic to talk things through with. At all stages of the process, Hunters were always happy to talk me through what was happening and advise me on the best course of action. Their patience, commitment and knowledge were incredible. They were really friendly and great to deal with. I can’t capture everything they did for me here, but needless to say I’d recommend them in an instant. Thank you again, Hunters!

I’ve just purchased a property which was being sold through hunters and received an excellent service throughout. A really great team, I dealt with Sophie and Joanne throughout the transaction and both were extremely pleasant whenever I called or they called me. Although I had received a mortgage in principle prior to viewing with Hunters I spoke with their mortgage advisor, Serena, who got a better mortgage than the one I had with the same lender! Awful customer service

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self

My experience selling a property in the UK with this agent was extremely frustrating. For over four months, they delayed the transaction. Despite my constant follow-ups, they kept giving me excuse after excuse, like mortgage problems or minor issues, saying it would happen next week. Eventually, I told them I would pull out and sell to another buyer, but Matthew insisted I still had to pay. I also want to warn people about this company, be very cautious, because in the contract, they include terms that are unfavorable to the client. Once you sign, they do very little to follow up, and you can’t even be sure if the buyer will complete the deal. Their main priority is just getting you to sign, and regardless of whether the sale happens, they still take your money. And when I tried to back out, Matthew actually threatened me, saying that if I didn’t pay, they would escalate it to other departments. I feel this is a form of intimidation.”

Robot refused to give me a viewing

Awful experience trying to arrange a viewing. Spent yonks on the phone with a robot. It asked me unnecessary questions and misheard things; then had to reconfirm everything. Eventually it was happy. I hung up and it started again this time by text. In the end it refused to let me have a viewing unless I told them my spending budget - which I wasn't prepared to do. Do not sell your property through these idiots.
