We have worked with Isabelle since acquiring the property they manage for us one year ago. There were initial difficulties for us as the property had more problems than we realised at the time. Isabelle and Rebecca have been very helpful and patient in dealing with our queries, and very quick and efficient in dealing with our problems. It has been a pleasure to deal with them, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to other landlords.

They were fundamental in successfully implementing a service charge, acted quickly on urgent maintenance issues, and built a strong, professional rapport with both existing and incoming occupiers. Gareth and Patrick were proactive, responsive, and easy to work with.

Doing ok for now .slight update they now been dismissed from the building they were serving thank God ill never have to talk to their highly intelligent staff again (well if you consider the intelligence of a small puppy smart)

As the title says- avoid this Company at all costs. Absolutely disgraceful. On several occasions in the past couple of weeks we have reported to them.about the broken lightening in our secure car park but nothing has been done about it. Coming in from at 10pm and not being able see is a dangerous health and safety problem. This was especially evident when it snowed and because Barnsdales haven't filled up the grit bin as previously requested, I came in from work and slipped on the slippery ground because of the poorly lit area. I spoke to a lady in the office last week and was told that she would get Rebecca or Ramel to contact me to discuss the matter and surprise surprise not a peep. I also emailed the MD Jason and again shock horror- not had the decency to respond or even acknowledge the email.
We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with a service provided by Barnsdales. As previously advised, we are unable to accept reports of maintenance issues from sublet tenants on all sites under our management as we have no way to verify your details. Matters need to be reported directly to your landlord or letting agent. As a managing agent we are accountable for the spending of service charge monies and must verify all costs, due process needs to be followed in resolving issues to keep service charges to owners reasonable.

We live in a semi secure community and have had considerable problems with our management company year after year. Our Landlord switched to Barnsdales five months ago and the change for the better has been amazing. From the start Barnsdales engaged with the residents association and held an open day for property owners. We now get regular communications, quick response to questions and problems solved immediately where possible. They are highly visible both at Director level and our local agent who is so efficient. There is not only a trust in them but we are seeing action on matters that have been left unattended for months. Thus our community is functioning as it should do. Furthermore, planning is taken place for the future by involving owners to improve our community. Cannot recommend highlyn enough.

Very poor experience. Barnsdales contracted the work out. Contractor failed to turn up as agreed and were on site for 4 days over a 4 week period. On one occasion a contractor turned up with his child! When asked not to return and to bill us for works completed we were given, in my view, on over-inflated invoice. On asking for detailed breakdown of calculations - the response was "we don't have that level of information"

The staff at Barnsdales were great from the start! They have been the best estate agents I have rented through. Any reported issues were dealt with and repaired quickly. Gemma was always helpful and friendly when I spoke to her, which made me feel that she cared about me as a tenant, as well as the property.

I have found Barnsdales and in particular Louise Ballinger very efficient and extremely helpful. Louise reacts to every email and phone call immediately. She is always polite and cheerful and nothing is too much trouble for her. This is such a refreshing change from the previous company I had to deal with. Thank you Louise.

GooglePoor block management. Don't usually go to the extent of online reviews but hopefully senior management will read this. Staff lack serious organisation skills and are rude. My complaint isn't the biggest in the scheme of things but is now as you choose to do nothing yet keep taking money in service charges. The grass at Priory Court hasn't been cut for four months and in the whole year and through lock down has only been done a handful of times making the green areas unusable. The place looks scruffy and new turf is needed. The woman managing it needs a rocket! Every time you ask, her response is she'll email the contractors to follow up then you hear nothing from her. He's an idea- PICK UP THE PHONE AND CHASE THEM! That or get new ones. Simply get online start ringing round and get some quotes.

Awful company, only been in my place a year this month and not seen any of the work done that our “service charge “ covers, sent multiple emails regarding how gross the stair well is and the stairs crumbling, my balcony falling apart into the woman below a garden no safe at all!!, no response back. Cannot get hold of anyone to help.

Terrible company - happy to take your money but almost impossible to get anything done. Two years to fix a leaking roof (no apology) / charge of £500 for gardening when we don't have a garden / no decorating done for two years despite charging for it / if questions get too much for them they just ignore emails and phone calls. Avoid at all cost

Rude,unkind and unpleasant behaviour towards me from Rebbecca O'Neil and Lainey Aspinal more than one occasion. They manage my apartments service charge and have sent letter after letter and email after email to my tenant without any jurisdiction. I'm unhappy as a landlord to have to utilise this service.

It really takes something for me to write a review about a company or individuals within that company however the recent email conversation with their staff has shown that Barnsdales are nothing but disrespectful thugs with two very obnoxious employees who only care about themselves and definitely not about the people they are suppose to be looking after and fight their battles through email with very little respect or any courtesy whatsoever towards a lodge owner .I own a lodge on a lake in Cirencester that is managed by this company and the residents pay a huge amount every year for that service and are badly let down on every request made to them, the obnoxious individuals who manage this lake should be ashamed of themselves .Do not use Barnsdales as a company or trust them in anyway shape or form because you will be very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Renting a property of them in Doncaster been email about a month about damp , if they had come when first reported. Wasnt to bad but now half way down the wall. Just keep making excuses.. still not been out leak is from upstairs flat.
Mr Price firstly accept our apologies. The repair is in hand, we have had roofers attend and supply quotes to the landlord, you were updated yesterday afternoon to say that we were waiting for the quotes to be approved and in the meantime a plumber will attend to make sure there are no further leaks from the upstairs flat. We believe it is not actually damp but water damage from a historical leak. Please rest assured this matter is being dealt with. Regards The Barnsdales Residential Team

FacebookThis company are a joke! Left a faulty Fire Alarm going from at least 830pm till 9am the next morning. The Fire Service were unable to silence the Alarm, and when Barnsdales were contacted they stated they were waiting for a quote! No response after 10pm from their 'out of hours' service! Appalling to leave residents in that position, with an alarm blaring all night long! Must do better!
