We’d swapped to Valentines after being very dissatisfied with a different agent, and we wish we’d gone to Deborah from the start! She’s a very professional yet approachable and friendly lady, whose knowledge of Shaw is second to none and her reputation is equally impressive…. At what was a really stressful and emotional time ( my late father’s property and our family home for over 50 years ) Deborah was kind, empathetic and genuinely caring, which meant so much to me personally. Tiny admin errors but barely worth a mention when all else was so good. A hard working tenacious lady with a kind heart !!! Thankyou so much Deborah.

Applied for a flat viewing, a lady called me day before to confirm I was coming which I did and quite abrupt saying 'I need to make sure to be on time', again this morning I got a phone call to confirm the appointment and was told there is no way that I can be late because the gentleman doing the viewing has somewhere else to be so I have to be early. I was 5 minutes early and came to the address, I rang the agency they said there had been an accident and he was going to be running late. Instead of ringing me when the agent arrived there I had to ring them, it then came that there has been confusions with the address on the map and it shows at a different location it was up the street, there had apparently been a few people that they had the mix up with but in the wait of 20 minutes and speaking to the women she had no deceny of making me aware of that fact! Did not even give me a chance to speak without interrupting me when I tried and even explain myself, before I said I don't want to do the viewing anymore. She then proceeded to tell me he had left anyway. I am currently pregnant and this whole situation with the company has done nothing but make me nervous and stress me out.

When moving recently we had an awful experience with our solicitors. Our estate agent , selling our house wasn't too helpful with information and return calls either. Valentines, the vendors estate agent, were the only people who helped and did as they said ..I.e. returned phone calls. If things don't go smoothly it helps to be kept informed and to be contacted , for example if a return call is promised. Valentines did this at this very stressful time and they are lovely people to deal with. I would recommend Valentines without a doubt.
