GoogleWe are very pleased with our decision to ask Dorset Property to manage our tenancy rather than "go it alone". Francine and the team have provided valuable assistance in all aspects of the tenancy, from refurbishment of the property through to finding a suitable tenant and advice on maintenance and repairs. It's great to be able to lean on their experience and network of tradespeople and allows me to focus on running my own business without the distractions of managing a tenancy.

GoogleThis is the first time I have used Dorset properties for renting. I have found then professional and helpful through out the process, which was straight forward and efficient. Francine has been super friendly and always available on the end of the phone or email with any queries and questions I have had. Recommended.

We have been with them for several years and stay because of the excellent, knowledgeable and hassle free service they offer us as landlords and the fair way in which I believe they present any concerns and requests from our long stay tenant when these arise. GoogleAbsolutely useless. We had a flood 4 months ago and they never bothered to fix the problem so it is now flooding again and half the house is soaked through. Also took them 3 months to fix the electrics. We had no light downstairs and the fire alarm beeping every minute for 3 months. Completely hopeless

GoogleSadly Dorset property have been extremely unprofessional during the whole time we have rented with them, this is 5 yrs this year 2020. Now we are leaving we are facing even worse customer service which has resulted in the so called manager private messaging me via my personal Facebook. The inventory upon us moving is was a joke with remarks in every room stated "not cleaned" or "not tested" including fire alarms. Also a note stating our toilets were unclean and smelling of urine. My husband and I spent a lot of money making the property livable. Now we are receiving threats of our deposit not being returned if we do not leave the property in clean condition. I have more pride then to leave it anything but clean. The point I have argued is the 4 extra days rent which I feel should be dropped. Would give no stars if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY would be my advice.

GoogleAfter several emails to shaftesbury branch about many properties i have never recieved a reply? Have been a rental tenant for several years now and not one reply back? Perhaps now ive posted a review i may hear something back? As like many others i work long shifts so not able to to just pop into the office. Thats why mobile numbers and email addresses should make things easier? At least i think!

GoogleSherborne office is not very tenent friendly. Puts lots of false cleaning charges at the end of tenent. They even try to charge for things that are not damaged or that were damaged when you moved in at the end of the contract. They cut an exorbitant amount from the deposit before returning it. You have to remind them about returning your deposit for 3 weeks after moving out
