We have been dealing with a huge number of agents whilst looking for a new home and to be honest, the majority of them were not particularly helpful or appear to care that much at all. So when it came to working with James and Ria, it was an enormous relief. I could not recommend Jackson Stops in Barnstaple more highly. I must have made about 50 phone calls and sent over 100 e mails over a 6 month period - and every single time, nothing was a problem, every issue was resolved quickly, efficiently and with a lot of care and attention. A fantastic service in every way for which will will be ever grateful.

Since moving to Newmarket more than 15 years ago, we have only used Jackson Stops and Staff in. Newmarket. The most recent time was last September, when we decided to sell a property we had been renting. The whole team gave us great advice and service from setting the pricing strategy, managing the viewings and the end of tenancy for our tenants. GoogleWe selected Jackson-Stops after interviewing 3 leading firms in Sevenoaks. Our house was a unique grade 2 listed property - quite difficult to compare against anything else on the market. Tom Oatley of Jacksons was the most enthusiastic about the property and its features and although not the highest in terms of suggested sales price he seemed to us to be the most realistic. In addition, Jacksons charges were the most reasonable. Not only was their commission rate lower than the competition but they also included the costs of the brochure and plans within their fee. The brochure was excellent with high quality photos that really showed the house to best advantage and they were happy to take our suggestions on board as to photo selection and text. We clearly got things about right because within 5 days of the details going online we had had 15 viewings and an asking price offer! Finalising the sale proved to be trickier than expected due to some issues around a complex title and Tim was very proactive in terms of liaising with the purchaser's solicitors to ensure that the issues were resolved as pragmatically as possible. All in all we were very happy with the service Tim and his team provided.

Jackson Stops sold our house for us recently. Jon and Yvonne in the Norwich office were very professional and helped us through 3 aborted sales. (No fault on their side, the market just cooled off) They stuck to their task and we achieved our sale the following month which has allowed us to build our forever home in North Norfolk. I have had a difficult experience with Jackson-Stops not understanding how to deal with the sharing of the ownership of my flat with my daughter. However, Property Manager Jess Lynagh who liaised between myself and her management was exemplary, she listened, understood the issue and was always prompt in her replies and persistent in resolving the problem.

Absolutely appalling sales experience. From being told that the buyers were cash buyers to then being told they didn't have the deposit. No fact checking had been carried out and we were led along for months without regular updates and the agent side stepping and avoiding calls only to find out the sale had fallen through and Jackson-Stops were aware but hadn't even bothered to update us! Absolutely no follow through.

In testing times they got it over the line always in touch in their professional manner to assure us in regards to the chain. We've just had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with this supposedly high end company. We invited the Northampton office to visit us with a view to marketing a high value rural property. After a very successful and pleasant visit we waited for our Marketing Appraisal , and we waited. The other 2 companies we invited to visit both responded with reports inside of a week. Now, precisely a month later we are still waiting on a report from JacksonStops! To add insult to injury, both my brother and I rang the gentlemen concerned and were assured our report was in progress. On my final call I was assured it would be me the next day by noon! I was assured he still wanted my custom and he was full of apologies for the delay. Yet still, we have no appraisal! This is not the way a professional company should treat a prospective client. Avoid the Northampton office, if not the whole company.

We worked closely with Gaynor Cooper and Tracy Connor‑Loader, and I always felt that they were on top of everything and always kept me updated. But the real test was on completion day, when there was a problem at the buyer's end, and without doubt things would not have happened with Gaynor and Tracy going above and beyond to get the job done. They are reliable, personable and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
