We are very happy with our new house and are extremely happy that we went through this process with Wright and Co in Sawbridgeworth. Highly recommend this company! GoogleI moved out of a flat I was renting through Wright and Co over a month ago and they are holding my deposit hostage without any explanation. There is now another tenant in the property and I still haven't had my deposit back or an indication as to when I will get it. This is a very disappointing experience as I paid my rent on time every month and left the flat in very good condition. I try not to post negative reviews but after trying several times to talk directly to someone at wright and co about my deposit and getting fobbed off each time, I decided to voice my frustration here. I wouldn't have been able to set foot in the property without first paying my deposit so I'm not sure why it's ok to keep it from me once I've left, all while renting the property to someone else.

GoogleAvoid Renting, Purchasing was fine. We have both rented and bought a house through Wright & Co. On the rentals side, staff are friendly but it was extremely difficult trying to get repairs or maintenance. Emails were ignored without a reply, and we had to chase things up repeatedly. This left us with problems left unaddressed for months. They also failed to reign in or advise the unproffessional landlord of the Market House. He tried to demand excessive deposit deductions. This eventually went to the Tenancy Dispute scheme, which sided in our favour. Purchasing was fine though, everyone was friendly and proffessional.

GoogleI am very happy to highly recommend Wright & Co. Richard dealt with the sale of my dad's estate property and he was excellent through out. In any sale for unique houses, there are issues that crop up. Richard handled these in a balanced and fair way that ensured our sale proceeded smoothly and rapidly. The benefit of working with Wright & Co is that the person who values your home, in our case Richard, is also the person who takes the sale all the way through to completion. That meant that we had an experienced and capable property professional dealing with our sale from beginning to end. This is a huge benefit for both the seller and buyer with the result that fair prices are achieved and sales are completed.

GoogleOutstanding customer service! Stuart from Wright and Co helped my wife and I find our forever home in Sawbridgeworth. He was amazing from start to finish, always responding to emails promptly and available for a chat on the phone, he was also very patient with us when house searching and booking viewings. Once we found the property of our dreams Stuart did a great job ensuring everything was progressing as quickly as possible. Wright and Co is a lovely firm full of lovely staff. Thank you so much for helping us find and purchase our dream home!!

GoogleRecently moved into a property marketed by Wright & Co in Sawbridgewort⁸h, our first point of contact was "Chris" Lettings Manager, Initial first impression was professional, knowledgeable and extreemly courteous and professional. Based on this initial first impression I de identify to move forward with my property viewing, Chris took the time to fully go through the property, nothing was to much trouble I was suitably impressed. My wife and I are now in the property, no hiccups, all paperwork was ready for signing and again fully explained, 3rd day in the property we had a issue with the washing machine, call and explained issue to Chris and within 24 hours , the old one was out and a new machine installed. What more can I say, Chris of Wright & Co, is a credit to the company, for his attention to detail and professionally approach. A real pleasure to deal with him, if in need of a estate agent I highly recommend Wright and Co

So far the service has been fantastic, and I have been kept up to date with everything. Lauren & Angela have also been superb, and nothing seems too much for them. GoogleI am very disappointed with my recent experience with Wright & Co Estate Agents in Sawbridgeworth. I was told my application for a property in North Weald had been accepted by the landlord, but after that I was repeatedly fobbed off for almost two weeks. My emails were ignored, and I was given no clear updates. It was only when I happened to pass by the property and saw someone else inside that I realised it had been let to another tenant, without any communication to me. As a professional who has been searching for a suitable home for a long time, this treatment has been incredibly disheartening. At the very least, I expected honesty and timely communication. I feel other prospective tenants should be aware of this experience and approach with caution.

GoogleYou're spoilt for choice for estate agents in and around Sawbridgeworth but you needn't look further than the team at Wright & Co. From the purchase of my first house in 2016 to its subsequent sale and purchase of my new property this year Stuart, William and the guys were always open and transparent, realistic and extremely patient as the search went much longer that we'd anticipated. It was always an easy conversation, despite the somewhat stressful nature of the subject and they were professional throughout. Even on days off Stuart was very prompt at keeping the chain updated on movements and did as much as they could to help move the pen with solicitors. I would have no hesitation in engaging them again should the need arise and can whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone else needing this sort of assistance.

GoogleI cannot thank the team at Wright & Co anymore than I possible can. The whole team have helped us push to get our dream home and when ever there were issues in the chain, they were sorted asap. When the lower chain issues occurred, Stuart was amazing! He was in contact every day, even on his days off, with the mortgage broker to get us an extension or chasing lower chain solicitors. Stuart is the most amazing agent and we truly are grateful for everything. And I write this sat in our new dream home!

GoogleWright and Co were the managing agents of my rental property for 16 years and today they have overseen the completion of the sale of what was previously my rental property. Good tenants were always found quickly and a buyer was found promptly, despite market conditions not being ideal at the time. They have always been friendly, highly professional and knowledgeable with any queires answered very quickly. On several occasions they have gone above and beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Wright and Co for managing rental properties or as agents in selling a property.

GoogleThis is our second time using Wright & Co (last time January 2012!) and yet again they provided us will an incredible service from start to finish. This move we sold with Wright & Co and purchased with them as well. The move was meant to be relatively pain free, however towards the finish line, the property in which we were buying threw some curve balls! Stuart was absolutely remarkable in handling the situation and even when there wasn't 'any updates', managed to still stay in contact with us and inform us with real time updates. Richard, Paul and Will also were on hand throughout which was wonderful because we really felt we received a personal service from the company and were not made to feel like we were just another vendor/purchaser and 'another transaction .... which we know many other estate agents can sometimes do. We continue to recommend Wright & Co to everyone and we truly believe you would go far wrong in not using them. They really are thoroughly decent people.
