⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding service from Fran & Deb at Wheatcroft and Lloyd! Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help me sell my home. Selling a property can be a stressful and sometimes overwhelming process, especially when there are so many different people and things involved, but Fran & Deb made me feel supported and looked after every step of the way. What really stood out was how proactive they were. They chased things up that they didn’t even need to chase themselves, simply because they genuinely cared about keeping everything moving and making sure nothing was being left to drag on unnecessarily. I never felt like I had to constantly chase them for updates either, they rang me on a weekly basis to keep me informed, explain where things were up to and make sure I knew what was happening. That regular communication gave me so much reassurance and made the whole process feel far less stressful. Nothing was ever too much trouble for either of them. They were always friendly, professional, approachable and willing to help, no matter how big or small the question or issue was. It genuinely felt like they were on my side throughout the entire process, rather than just doing the bare minimum expected of an estate agent. Their dedication, communication and willingness to go above and beyond made such a difference to my experience of selling my home. I always felt like I was in safe hands, and knowing that Fran & Deb were there taking care of things gave me real peace of mind. From day one, the whole team were honest, open, and professional, making what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed. They sold my property within just one week of it going on the market, which exceeded my expectations. They also provided invaluable support with my onward purchase, ensuring everything progressed as smoothly as possible. Tom, who carried out the valuation and facilitated a viewing on a prospective property, was incredibly professional while remaining approachable and down to earth. Lisa was exceptional throughout the sale process, expertly handling several difficult situations and always keeping me informed. Her commitment was outstanding even while on annual leave, she took the time to contact me to check everything was going well. That level of care and dedication went far beyond what I ever expected. The team at Wheatcroft and Lloyd were simply awesome! Tom, who visited initially, demonstrated the vast knowledge and expertise within the team, and how dedicated they would be as an agent, and how hard they would work to sell our property. They filtered out time wasters, so that everyone who viewed the property was a serious potential buyer and in a procedable position. They went above and beyond in chasing up and ensuring that our needs were met, a good market price was achieved, and they kept in regular communication. After a previous bad experience of trying to sell, they were a reassuring agent whom we didn't doubt for a second and had every faith in. They were all professional yet friendly and having dealt with a couple of other local agents in the past, would say they outshone those by a country mile Special thanks to Tom Lamb: Amazing. It's a pity that I can only give 5 stars. The service provided by Wheatcroft and Lloyd in selling my house was second to none. I had been burned by selecting an estate agent prior to W&L who fell well below expectations. I was anxious that this might be the industry standard but I needn't have worried - W&L quickly eased my anxiety. The service began strongly as the valuer (Tom) offered to pick the keys up from the other estate agent and arranged to get photos sorted without me needing to be there (as I wasn't living at the property, this was really handy). Listing with W&L saw a massive uptick in viewings, several a week. They conducted all viewings (something the previous EA did not) and provided useful feedback. Throughout W&L were a joy to deal with, keeping me well informed. Where they really excelled was in the negotiations with the buyer and in dealing with the buyer's solicitor who was for want of a better word, useless. The people of W&L are incredibly warm and empathetic, which is not to be overlooked when looking for a partner to assist on such a complex and stressful transaction! Special thanks to Lisa, Debi and Fran, who each of which at various points acted as negotiators/therapists! Despite all of the stress, I miss dealing with these lovely people!

Extremely disappointing experience. Communication was poor, responses were slow, and the whole process took far longer than necessary. We repeatedly had to chase for updates. Our survey revealed major issues that completely changed our view of the property. We were left feeling that important information about the property’s condition had not been communicated openly. As a result, we incurred significant costs for surveys and legal work before having to withdraw from the purchase. Overall, we found the process frustrating, time-consuming and expensive, and we expected a much higher level of transparency and professionalism.
