We are plumbing and heating contractors that have worked with Houseman for the last couple of years. We’ve found them to be very organised and honest letting agents, always striving to do the right thing by their contractors, landlords and tenants. We have worked with Emma and Raphael from Houseman for 8 years and in that time we have found them extremely responsive, acting responsibly on behalf of the tenants and the landlords be it moving in, moving out or issues that occur during the tenancy. They have very good relations with the contractors they use and can always be relied upon to take a pragmatic view around any issues that crop up. Trust is a word that sometimes gets forgotten in this area, but not here.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Avoid renting through this company if you can. My experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. Communication was either non-existent or incredibly poor throughout the tenancy. At the end of our tenancy, no formal check-out walkthrough was carried out, leaving us with no opportunity to discuss the condition of the property or address any issues. We are also currently unable to get our deposit back, with no clear communication or progress on the matter. To make matters worse, the company is attempting to charge us late rent despite the fact that we no longer live at the property. The level of incompetence, poor management, and unprofessional attitude has been shocking. There seems to be a complete lack of organisation and understanding of basic property management responsibilities. Without question, this has been the worst letting company I’ve dealt with in Salisbury. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through them to think twice.

Any amendments were made and the team is very responsive. Checkout was also smooth and communication is excellent. We were a tenant at a Ewemove managed property. If you can avoid them, do so. They were unprofessional and tried to keep over 1,000 of our deposit. Thankfully, Deposit protection came through and adjudication was in our favor. We tried very hard to solve everything at the lowest level but emails were never answered and no proof of any charges were ever provided. If you are forced to use them, document and photograph EVERYTHING as they will certainly try to scam you out of your deposit. We moved out in July and received our deposit back in November after a lengthy and unnecessary delay. If you are a landlord working with Ewemove, just know that they are horrible to deal with as a tenant.

My experience with Ewe Move (Lettings) has unfortunately left a sour taste in my mouth for ever renting future properties again. When issues were raised, it took an unnessacery amount of time to be resolved (6+ months on some occasions). Some were never fixed in the 2 years we were at the property. It seemed unless it benefitted them in some way, we would always struggle to get quick responses. The offices are always closed, you never get through to the right person and have to put in so much effort to get anything done. Wouldnt reccomend 🙂

I am so delighted I decided to use Malcolm White at EweMove to sell my city centre apartment. Malcolm is by far the most professional estate agent in Salisbury. The apartment went under offer at full asking price within 3 weeks of marketing. Malcolm & James have been a breath of fresh air to Salisbury Estate Agency. It's evident that Malcolm loves and cares about what he does. He spends time to understand his customers so that he knows what aspect of selling/buying is most important to them and sets out to achieve that for them.
