The dust has finally settled on our house move, and as I sit surrounded by boxes, I wanted to share a few thoughts on our experience with Charles Orlebar Estate Agents. After meeting with several agents, we chose Charles Orlebar, and from the very first interaction, the difference was clear. From initial discussions and contract negotiation through to photography, video, and launch, the whole process was handled professionally and efficiently. Once live, communication was excellent, we were kept fully informed on viewings and feedback throughout. We were fortunate to sell quickly, and throughout the negotiation process, Liz, George and the team were outstanding. At every stage, we felt they were genuinely acting in our best interests, helping us navigate both the highs and the inevitable pressures of selling. What stood out most was their accessibility and attitude. In a world of call centres, automated responses and slow communication, they were always available, responsive, and never made us feel like a burden, even when frustrations crept in. A particularly thoughtful touch was on moving day, when Liz turned up with a bottle of champagne and a welcome box for the new house, a small gesture that spoke volumes. A fantastic service from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering selling their home.

I sold and purchased through Charles Orlebar: I strongly recommend this company. The team and in particular George. From the start with professional pictures of the house and the video to the end of completion with an agent with my keys waiting at the new home with a box of goodies after a long day. (The wine went down a treat). When we had a few hiccups along the way , George went the extra mile to not only sort out problems but gave the reassurance that was much needed.

Over the years I have sold two properties with them and purchased one from them, our dream home! I had my house on the market for 3 months with another agent with little or no interest and not a single sensible offer. I decided to try Charles Orlebar. George cam to view my property and he was friendly and the consummate professional. He explained the many varied ways of bringing a property to the market including using social media. I signed up and my house was on the market very quickly and viewings being booked. Within a week an offer was made and with George negotiating for me I was able to accept an offer above my asking price. The property was brought to completion without complications. Very poor response we had the first viewing on a rented house which we liked so went through all the hassle off sending all the documents etc but apparently we have to wait for the landlord to choose who they want in there house which seems strange but then get told we didn’t get the house as another couple beat us too it even tho we had the first viewing also very poor response trying to contact the lettings office as all u get told … we will get her to call u back which never really does so would never recommend trying to get a letting property’s from these

Terrible experience and customer service. We have tried to arrange a viewing of a property and all they said was "we will forward that to the team" without contacting us for WEEKS. In addition to that, we went to their office and no one was there to assist us either, but guess what, the gentleman there said they'll forward it to the "team", which is apparently non-existent judging by how they handled the situation so far. The story continues when we called again about another property and they came up with the same reply which I wasn't suprised by. To this day the properties I talked about are still available on RightMove and noone came back to us. Complete waste of time and effort. Never again. Organization ZERO, customer care ZERO.
