GoogleA really lovely and helpful team. They kept us up to date with viewings and feedback, gave honest advice and sold our house for a price we were happy with. They aren't the cheapest estate agent around, but you get what you pay for! Great service, I would absolutely reccomend to a friend.

GoogleHaving lived locally for many years Charles Orlebar Estate Agents came to us highly recommended from many folk (as the all 5 star Google reviews here attest) so we had no hesitation instructing them to act for us. Our experience (as sellers of a property) was no exception; George and Liz are an absolute delight to deal with; professional, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and most importantly for us, great communications; prompt and informative responses ensured we were always up to date regarding every aspect of the sale. What’s not to like? Whilst our property maybe took a little longer that we had anticipated for it to sell (and for clarity, in no way is this attributed to Orlebars; more to do with the property type and current market forces) we were never minded to dispense with their services nor look for another agent such was our satisfaction with them. Put simply, instruct Charles Orlebar Estate Agents to act for you and expect your experience to be the antithesis of what you’ve been led to believe about the reputations of other estate agents. We’d have no hesitation at all in recommending them to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent. 5 stars all round. A+

GoogleI would highly recommend Charles Orlebar Estate agents - we sold our family home through Liz and George and the service was superb. George's marketing photos and video were excellent and the after sale service that Liz provided was fantastic. I do not think we would have completed given the complicities in our chain and the Pandemic if it wasn't for using this Estate Agency.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleRather poor service. I am selling a beautiful 2 beds appartement in Higham Ferrers. I decided to use two estate agents to sale the property. However, Charles Orlebar is rather arrogant in thinking only they should sale the property as “it makes me look desperate”. How offensive and unprofessional on their part. I am most concerned about their lack of openness and honesty - they knew I had contacted other estate agents. They in fact visited the property at the time as another local estate agent. Maybe they could have been clearer about this matter before visiting the property. I do not believe they are more qualified then any other estate agent in the region. However, I am a little concerned by the lack of transparency. Highly recommended if you want to waste your time.

GoogleInstead of them trying to sell you a service, the tenant has to sell themselves to have the pleasure of giving them thousands of pounds a month. They make you send over loads of documents and have an interview. Then when you think it's all done they reject you because apparently the landlord likes the look of another tenant more. Waste of my time. I hate that they make you compete against other people to give them money!

GoogleLiz and George were fantastic, A really friendly estate agents, we bought the most beautiful house through them, it was a long process which was down to the sellers not the estate agents but they kept us informed all the way through and we have maintained contact ever since. Hi Marcin - many apologies. The letting market is exceptionally busy with over subscribed interest in all of the properties we currently have available. Add to this we have also been understaffed and in the process of training new staff. So there has been a backlog to recover. I will ask Lucy to contact you and review the documents you have sent in, as there is a pre-qualification process before booking a viewing. Regards Charles
