This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Edwards Grounds Runcorn, first for the sale of my own property and more recently for the sale of my late mums house. The team, Shirley, Janet, Lee and any other team members that I didn’t work with directly on this latest occasion were helpful, professional, knowledgeable and above all friendly, meaning that the whole process went quickly and smoothly with no delays or surprises. Shirley did the initial inspection and valuation on my mum’s house and showed genuine compassion and understanding at what was a really difficult time. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Lady who showed me around the house was lovely and managed to fit me in quickly,I wouldn't of got the house if I hadn't got there that Thursday! My solicitor has trouble contacting the sellers solicitor and after I had sent over my mortgage in principle I never heard from them again until they informed me the sellers solicitor had left and my solicitors emails weren't being answered due to this.That was the last I heard,on completion day I couldn't get into the shop so i had to ring the shop to see what was going on,a man came to the door and it felt like I was giving him such a inconvenience,there was no thankyou good luck or anything it felt like I was simply staying in a caravan site for thr week.I was majorly disappointed by this as it was my first home I purchased 😢

Despite not being a direct customer with Max and the team (the house that we were buying was on the market with Edwards grounds), the service that we experienced was outstanding. Max gave us lots of useful advice and information to ask from the people buying our house. This helped us choose the offer that was right for us, and wasn’t just based on the highest offer. This made for a simple chain further down the line. We had a number of delays And tight deadlines, meaning at one point the move looked doubtful. However Max and his team chased the necessary individuals, and helped to get this through. We’ve now been in our new home very happily for just over two weeks, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the place. Thank you very much to everybody involved

BEWARE!!! Thanks for your non-existent courtesy call to say that the property we had an offer accepted on, is now no longer going ahead. You told me that the buyer would remove the property from the market as soon as a survey was instructed on the property we were selling. We kept you regularly up to date about this and notified you when the survey happened. 9 days later, the property was still being marketed and it appears viewings have taken place after an offer has been accepted a memorandum of sale issued. Edwards Grounds declined to answer my questions about why the property had not been taken off the market. I went to visit the vendor to get a better understanding of the mess caused. Edwards Grounds painted this picture of myself as a single man wishing to buy a 4 bedroom property and that I am happy to rent if this transaction didn’t go through. Where on earth did this rubbish come from? Clearly damaging to the trust the vendor had in the sale. I am even more frustrated about being pushed to amend the mortgage offer and proceeding with the purchase as if the property was sold (I was instructed to do this to continue with the sale even though an agreement in principle was shown). I am really disappointed with the service I have received as no doubt it has cost us our dream home, time and money.
