An error was realised in the initial pricing of the premises, when we looked at similar properties in the immediate vicinities and what they had been sold for. Sheila took over management of our property and both instigated and continued communication as she kept us constantly informed us as to the progress she was making. In less than one week, she contacted us to inform us that there was quite some interest from people, and then an offer. Unfortunately the offer was not quite enough for us to be able to accept. Undeterred, and ever upbeat, Sheila took control of that temporary blip and came back with another offer from another potential purchaser. This potential purchaser was - well, hopefully is - actually half of a couple and they sound charming. [But of course, I would say that, wouldn’t I?] Apparently they liked the property, but were unable to reach our asking price. I conferred with family and suggested a compromise; after speaking with the prospective purchasers, Sheila contacted me to say that they agreed to it. So we have accepted the offer of the charming[!] couple and hope that they are pleased. We understand that they are the end of a long chain and we will all hope that the bracelet doesn’t have a link that breaks. I am very pleased that Sheila is dealing with my mother’s house. Be careful with your deposit. They will withhold your money for no reason. I'm trying to get my deposit back for a month now. I've sent numerous emails and no communications, went to the agent twice and have been passed from pillar to post. There is no damage to the property or outstanding payments but still no return of my deposit. Terrible experience!
