Our home was absolutely perfect and although our time was cut short for personal reasons, we can’t fault the experience we had. Malcolm was always understanding, helpful in any given scenario and even post tenancy has continued to support us with any end of tenancy queries and references for our new rental. GoogleI would strongly advise against awarding more than a single star for this letting experience.
The property viewing, conducted by Malcolm, was unsatisfactory, offering only a brief look at a furnished unit and a rushed move-in process that appeared motivated by the need to quickly re-let after the previous tenant’s departure. Significant details were omitted from both the listing and the viewing, including the existence of a problematic electric meter that resulted in charges of nearly £200 per month for a single-occupancy studio flat, despite the tenant working full-time hours. There was also no disclosure regarding the poor condition of the boiler, which required up to 10 minutes to provide heating, nor mention of the single-glazed windows and persistent mould odour throughout the tenancy.
Upon early termination-prompted by the landlord’s intent to re-let the property to a business-a nearly £300 remarketing fee was unexpectedly imposed. After vacating, the letting agent falsely claimed to have informed the utility provider of the change in tenancy, resulting in bills for the new occupant being directed to the former tenant.
Communication throughout was severely lacking, with the agency displaying unprofessional conduct and the secretary frequently responding to queries in a rude and abrupt manner. Based on this experience, I would recommend avoiding this agency unless you are able to obtain full and transparent details about the property and associated costs prior to committing.

Especially, considering that our original buyer waited until 2 days before we were due to complete before attempting to force us to drop our price by up to £25,000 from his original offer almost 3 months earlier. This cost us our move to the Highlands of Scotland as the folk there were able to accept a cash offer within a few days of us telling them that our sale had fallen through.
