A special thank you to Callum and Courtney, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly which aided us in getting our dream house. Well went to view a property. Put an offer in and they said they went having a think about.. vendor )to find out another viewing the next day. Bad experience. Told me they would phone me in the morning had to chase all too much effort.

Buying and selling a house can be a really stressful time but Courtney made things so easy for us. No matter how many times I called into branch or rang her stressing she was able to put my mind at ease. She keeps us updated at every stage, chasing things when we ask her and always with a smile on her face, nothing is too much trouble. Calum and his team were amazing. We were selling two houses with them. They did everything they could to ensure a smooth sale for both houses. They got the photographer and brochures ready so they could go on the market at the same time. They kept us updated at each part of the process and were quick to resolve any issues we had. They showed their knowledge when answering any questions we had. We also used Ed as our mortage advisor and the in house solicitors Tilly Bailey & Irvine which made things much easier and smoother. We would definitely recommend them. We can't thank them enough for helping us to sell our houses so we could buy our new house.

PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

What can I say about the team that work here? My house was sold within a week through their promotion! The team are incredible so professional, going above and beyond. Kallum with his chasing of our buyers company and Amy bringing me down off the ceiling when I was panicking, and dealing with my constant phone calls and enquiries so efficiently and professionally she really knows her stuff. I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

Buyer Beware! These guys did a great job for their client (the seller). If you are a buyer, be warned, watch out for their tactics. Having been told the seller had accepted our offer but just wanted to see proof of our funds (as we were cash buyers), I promptly supplied a bank statement showing more than the funds needed for the asking price. Surprise, surprise the next day I am informed that actually someone else has put in an offer and would we like to up our offer. I freely admit that this is how the property business works but the team at William H Brown Maltby were in full possession that we had more funds available than the offer price.... why not just push a bit more to see if they could get more money out of us? Got to applaud them for getting more money for their client though. As a buyer, the approach taken by William H Brown left a very unpleasant taste in the mouth.

Poor Customer Service

They rang me on Friday 12th of June and left me a voicemail to call them back to organise viewing a property in Upton that wasn’t clearly listed as being owned by Lomond. I rang them back several times and left voicemails only to be ignored, I then followed up with a second email query also to be ignored. After looking at the property its clearly managed by Lomond, so they have likely liaised with them to blacklist me from renting their properties. This is over one ancient paid off &satisfied CCJ.

Very unprofessional my daughter has moved in to one of there properties and have had nothing but issue after issue and they don't seem to be bothered as long as there getting there money, works that have been done are to a very poor standard as they use an odd job man and not professional trades matters are being taken further, I can provide photos and evidence to anyone wishing to rent there properties before you go down the same road
