First class service from reeds rains in Bridlington. Offered several viewings next day, Letara was informative about the properties, answered any questions gave me lots of time to check everything out. I put in an offer on one of the properties which was dealt with by Miles who was on the ball, and explained everything to me, I felt really confident that it was being dealt with very efficiently. My offer was accepted in a few days and all the paperwork etc. was done very promptly by Letara who again gave an exceptional service. I am over the moon and very impressed with the way this business runs and would highly recommend buying a property through them. Thankyou so much to the team at Reeds Rains in Bridlington.

Property well presented when advertised. Lots of viewings organised. Had two failed offers, for genuine reasons, but final and successful offer pushed through relatively quickly. I did my research as to which estate agents to use as I had heard lots of horror stories, Reeds rains was one of the top rated with really good reviews so we went with them to sell our house. My husband and I had been in our house for almost 25 years so were very new to dealing with estate agents. We are so pleased that we went with Reeds rains in Rotherham and would highly recommend them to everyone. Nicola was absolutely brilliant as were the other girls in the office. Nicola gave us regular updates during the marketing and selling process and was always very quick to respond to any questions we had and to offer reassurrance. If we ever needed an estate agents in future we would go straight with Reeds rains. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you Nicola and crew!

Truly awful experience

Truly awful experience. I would not go with this company ever again, not because of the company but because of the landlords they choose.We went through reeds reins even though the landlord managed the property. We went without heating for 10 days with 3 kids. In fact the boiler broke every 3 months for years. There is a leak in the kitchen coming from the bathroom which was also never fixed. Let's not speak about he broken fence.The landlord often entered the property without permission, even if we were not there. When we left, they with held the deposit due to damage we have caused. But then they never did changed anything before for the next tenant l moved in... Where did our money go?Unfortunately my opinion of reeds reins is now they only work with landlords nobody else would choose. They are not responsible for the upkeep of the property but they are responsible for who they decide to work with.

The Team is very helpful in finding me a tenant, but they were rushing the tenant on viewing I have been told. Secondly team hasn’t notified me earlier if there is any cleaning required. This could be the reason it has taken a lot longer to find the tenant which is just over a month. I will recommend Reed Rains in Rotherham to everyone they are very friendly & helpful team.

Worst estate agents ever

Rented a house for my family, before moving in i requested that the house was cleaned and garden fixed as any tenant would expect. (The back garden gate was damaged lay on the floor and it led to an alley way in town. there was masses of waste both in the front and back even inside the house. They called us in on a Saturday at 2pm to collect the keys (They close at 3) & did an inventory in the office and said we could raise any issues within a week if the inventory did not match. When we raised these issues they had contractors take a look and we took 3 days off work for each time they came, nothing got fixed, they didnt stick to their word of even cleaning the garden. There was wiring sticking out of every wall in the house. They agreed to fix these issues, the blamed us for not checking the property properly and accepting it was. They were extremely slow in responding after 2 months of us constantly requesting the fixtures be made, they decided they would rather 'mutually' terminate the contract. Not without incurring costs though.

They will leave you high and dry when problems arise. When my tenant fell into rent arrears, Reeds Rains offered little to no assistance and effectively left me to deal with the issue myself. Communication was extremely frustrating, calls and emails often went unanswered unless I constantly chased them. As a landlord, you expect proactive management, not silence when things go wrong. Very disappointing experience.

Nicola was so helpful and professional throughout, had my property valued, photographed and marketed very promptly, raising great attention online which meant I was able to accept an offer just one week after going on the market. Meanwhile, the alternative agent I was also advertising with, hadn’t even put the property on the market yet. Overall an awful experience

It started off great, we rented a house in huddersfield through them and they were responsive and helpful until the person originally dealing with our move went on holiday. Then our move was transferred to emma, which again started off great however, she started to make us feel like an inconvenience whenever we called and asked for updates as it was getting close to our move date and things were not ready. Admittedly it was a quick move but we were told it was no problem. However, by the day of our move we still had no paperwork or keys despite the fact we were told we would have them by the day before at the latest, which was then changed to midday on moving today however we did not get the keys until 5pm which caused us a lot of stress and inconvenienced us a lot as we had people waiting to help us move so we just had to wait all day. When we went to the office on moving day to speak to Emma as she was just brushing us off on the phone, her attitude was awful and she was clearly irritated by us being there. She also went back on herself saying she never said the keys would be ready by this point, which was a blatant lie. She did not care about us or our move at all and I think that is what bothered me the most.Some of this may have been down to them having a new system, which I was sympathetic and understanding about at first. However, Emma's poor attitude and the fact she just didn't care made me become annoyed more quickly than I usually would have. Also, due to the new system they sent me someone else's tenancy agreement which included the tenants and landlords personal details, which must be major violation of privacy laws and made me feel insecure about the privacy of my information. When I brought it up to them they brushed it off like it was nothing. However, despite all of this, there was one positive experience which was all the handlings we had with Ben. Ben took over after Emma went home and he was kind, reassuring and caring, made us feel a lot less stressed and annoyed, as he actually explained why it was taking so long and what he was doing to speed it along a bit. He was a breath of fresh air after such an awful day.Overall I would not use this estate agent again. The staff need to work on keeping information private and attitudes towards tenants however, Ben was amazing and a saving grace that day.
