Disappointing Experience as Potential Buyers As potential buyers, we found Thomas Larder quite difficult to deal with. The staff were pushy and at times quite rude, which made the process unnecessarily stressful. They didn’t seem particularly interested in answering our questions or offering any real support, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than serious buyers. Overall, not a great experience.

Can't praise Thomas Lardner enough! I have rented two properties through Thomas Lardner and both times they have been extremely helpful. I had to move unexpectedly from the first property I rented through them and they were really helpful in finding me something else. David and the team are all very friendly and helpful. The very few issues I had with the property were always addressed quickly and efficiently. Would recommend to anyone renting, buying or selling.

Both were extremely helpful and understanding and after my poor choice of solicitor, Diane especially, was instrumental in ensuring we got the sale across the line. We have just sold a large (5 bed) house via the Agency. Another agency had failed completely to attract serious buyers for a year or so, so we moved to ThomasLardner, They found us a buyer, but sadly that deal fell through after we were a long way into buying our dream house down in Somerset. So we gulped, took stock and went ahead an bought in Somerset while renting our Romiley property through ThomasLardner. So we have worked with both the rental and sales side of ThomasLardner and its been brilliant. They are really supportive, have a good network of tradespeople so when problems on the rental side arose, they were solved quickly. When we came to sell again, they found us a buyer who rented while the deal went through. From our side it was all transparent. ThomasLardner handled everything, smoothly, efficiently and kept us fully informed. When we came to pay their fee, we did not begrudge them a penny and we have never said that about estate agent fees in any of our previous house moves.
