At this point we've, both my Wife and I have been viewing properties. There's been a couple of properties suitable for our lives. And within our current valuation, however I've failed to keep their emails. But having said that, I doubt if they'd still be available by May/June 2022.However we're still on the look out. And during this time we're having the lounge redecorated, hallway recapped. When we come across a property, we'll be in touch, thankyou.

TrustpilotProperty prices ERROR
Property prices ERROR - they put a price down for your property and it stays on their site forever - even when the price is wrong and you complain and independently have a valuation - they do not remove their wrontg price - this makes selling your house difficult. I got my estate agent to remove my details from zoopla and still it stays on the internet causing issues with prospective purchasers. Avoid them to avoid problems

TrustpilotMissing Market valuation
Is a really great page, but the last update removes one of the most important tools: Market valuation. I understand is not as precise as it could be, but it gives you an estimate. Rather than removing it, it would be great if the algorithm becomes more precise with more time and data. Additionally, it could use a size filter so you can control with a nice range the size you'd like for your property, as in london this is more accurate than the number of bedrooms (you have 35sq meters 2 bed, or 90sq meters 2 beds).Happy to amend this to 5 stars if we get the Market valuation back.

TrustpilotGreat for the search
I love Zoopla, It's a great website to use when searching for homes and when you have thoughts about where you want to live and what you want in your house ten you can type it in and it shows you all of the properties matching your search :) I think that when they have sold a house they should take it off Zoopla though because they just get people's hopes up when it's already sold. Zoopla should take off the house as soon as its brought instead of 2 weeks later

Hi Lola,Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your 4 star review. It's great to hear how much you like our website, and we hope we continue to help and support you in all things property related. All the for sale/to rent information on Zoopla is provided to us by the estate agents advertising the properties who are subject to our terms and conditions and code of conduct. When the status of their properties changes to ‘sold’, we request they mark the property as ‘Sold STC’ on Zoopla if this is the case, but unfortunately, it seems sometimes this is not always done immediately resulting in our users finding listings in search results they did not expect. Listings generally take no longer than 24 hours to disappear from the website after the agent has requested its removal unless there was a technical error which we would be able to confirm. Our aim is to ensure that all information on our site is as comprehensive and accurate as possible so next time you see this it would be very helpful if you could select the ‘report listing’ option on the listing’s page. We will then investigate the issue further by speaking to the agent advertising the property. You can report them to us easily by following the steps outlined in this article:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360006033017If there's anything else we can do to help you with, be sure to visit our Help Centre where you may find many useful articles as well as a designated section for property seekers:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/Many thanks,Zoopla Support

TrustpilotHopeless Automatic Valuation
Yesterday I looked up the Zoopla automatic valuation for my home. The figure was hopelessly low.We live in a big old Victorian semi. The other half of our semi is essentially identical to our house. However, the automatic estimate for the other half is £577k (it sold in 2016 for £430k), whereas ours is only £323k, 44% less. This gives a very unhelpful first impression to a potential buyer, who may assume immediately that a house is over-priced without going to the cost and trouble of a surveyor’s valuation. The Zoopla figure will cause us significant difficulties when we come to sell the house. However, there seems to be no way of appealing against it. This is extremely unfair. After posting this review Zoopla contacted me. They wouldn't review the estimate or the faulty background data that led to it. The most they agreed to do is to remove the estimate figure. This isn't a good response because it doesn't tackle the underlying cause of the problem - faulty data or a faulty algorithm. They must be giving out a lot of other poor-quality information that many house-owners have never noticed.

Hi Tony, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We understand that a lowered estimate was displayed for your property, so in order to resolve this issue we have removed it from your property, to avoid a price you see as unfit .We can confirm that the removal is a temporary solution until the model deems new data reliable enough to give a higher confidence estimate, however, due to the model's automation, we cannot generate estimates for specific properties.Data might be available for your property that has not been processed yet which means a more accurate estimate will take time. TrustpilotInaccurate valuation
I bought a house as a rental in December 2018 for £158k. It has been renovated and extended via a £35k spend. The Zoopla estimate says £140k to £180k - I asked a local estate agent for a valuation which came in at £220k. I have sent this to Zoopla and asked them to revise their estimate, but they have refused to do this, saying their system of estimating is accurate! This has now prevented me remortgaging the property for it’s true value given mortgage values will not visit the property. I have escalated it with Zoopla but they have not responded.

Agent replied · 23 October 2024
Hi Dom,Many thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We're really sorry to hear you feel this way about our valuation model. The accuracy of Zoopla estimates is influenced by a number of factors such as the current market values of homes, the quality of the information available on the given property and the availability of comparable properties in the area. This means that unique properties or those where the housing market is slower, may experience less accurate estimates due to which discrepancies in values are not unusual. Our aim is to provide the most accurate estimates. It’s important to remember that the type, age and size of homes varies widely across the UK and this, coupled with the liquidity of homes in any local market, impacts the ability of any Automated Valuation Model to deliver an accurate valuation. We would like to discuss your property details further with you and we will now message you privately for more information. Many thanks,Zoopla Support

TrustpilotFind a New Home Soonest
Zoopla suits me as a platform to finding the perfect property. I’ve found so many hidden gems just by looking on Zoopla that I would not otherwise have known were for Sale. The housing market has changed a lot in recent years and it’s not important to advertise using a board planted in the garden anymore nor is it necessary to employ an Agent from the high street. Zoopla fulfils a gap that was open by showing a much broader selection of homes and many are unusual so get snapped up quickly. I always go to Zoopla first when I’m looking at properties as theirs is the most comprehensive selection to choose from.

We really happy to hear that you find our site easy to use but we are really sorry to hear about the struggles you have been having with your property search on our site. All the for sale/to rent information on Zoopla is provided to us by the estate agents advertising the properties, when uploading their properties to Zoopla we request they mark the property as either 'sold', 'let' or ‘pet friendly’ if this is the case but unfortunately it seems sometimes this is not done resulting in our users finding listings in search results they did not expect.Every home advertised on Zoopla is listed by registered estate agents who are subject to our terms and conditions and code of conduct, and our aim is to ensure our site is as up to date and accurate as possible. We are continually in the process of investigating the misleading listings which are published on our website and we do take them very seriously. It is valuable feedback and ideas from users such as you that help us to continue to develop and make Zoopla a more useful resource for all our users. Thus, we do appreciate it when users send us examples of any incorrect information so that we can update our records as soon as possible. If you do see any other listings which are no longer available, you can report them to us easily by following the steps outlined in this article:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360006033017Furthermore, if the agents you have contacted haven’t replied within 3 business days, we recommend that you call them on the number displayed next to their branch in the ‘Find agents’ section of our site.If you ever need any assistance or wish to contact us directly regarding this matter, you may do so via our designated Help Centre:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/Many thanks,Zoopla Support
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
