I planned to sell my house and move to Oxford to be nearer my children and started looking for an Estate Agent early this year. I liked the sound of John’s IPA looking at their website so contacted them in February to get things moving. From the first visit to my house to the last the day when I moved I was impressed with Robin and his staff. It was a friendly but efficient service, I felt looked after and cared for and his terms of business were very reasonable. Robin helped me through all stages of the process including looking at links to properties I was interested in buying. We had many a pleasant conversation face to face and by telephone. On the day I moved out Robin came to my house to take the keys and chat before I left. I couldn’t have asked for more from an Estate Agent and highly recommend them if you are selling your house.

I don’t usually write reviews but Robin certainly deserves this one. We moved back in December after 6 months of what can only be described as hell. 🤣. We wouldn’t have got there without the calm and support that Robin provides. We brought a house off of Robin in June with a very short chain. Robin helped with us getting the price we were happy to pay and then every week fort for us time and time again. Our solicitors and our buyers communication was let’s say a little weak! But Robin powered through to get the sale over the line. He directed me every step of the way with advice and calm words whilst I was ( going nuts). Robin got the sale done in six months and I can hand on heart say without him it would have a. Fallen through or b. Still been going through now. Both Robin and Matthew were very easy to talk to and were very understanding when I had a slight problem with the buyer of my property. Having had previous difficulties with big chain agencies, it was really great to encounter this family run agency, both of whom have a real enthusiasm for their work. Johnson's provided us with a very personalised service, which I think you can only get from a small family run business. Matt hand-held us throughout the whole process, and when we faced some unexpected twist and turns, Matt was amazing and pulled out all the stops to ensure the sale went through smoothly. I think most people would agree that selling and buying a home can be a stressful experience. However, we had the great fortune of choosing Johnson's to sell our home and from the off we were treated like friend's and not just customers. We were constantly updated on the selling process, which remarkably took only a matter of weeks. My wife even remarked over the amazing photos that were taken of our property "and exactly why are we selling?", which is the perfect example of the service they supplied. Estate Agents often get a bad press, but we haven't got a bad word to say about Johnson's.

Dealing with both Robin and Matthew at Johnson's IPA was a compete pleasure. Their local knowledge was second to none and their degree of professionalism was exceptional. Not being the first house I have sold I expected a rather standardised service that one gets with the majority of other Estate Agents but I was pleasantly surprised when using Johnson's IPA as the service I received was bespoke to my needs. We received an offer within a short time frame and Matthew negotiated successfully with the buyer to get us a price we were happy with.
