outstanding service, care and support

The team at Savills, specifically Victoria and Cameron , have been exceptional in their assistance with the sale of my Mother’s house. From the first reassuring meeting, where my Mother was greeted with kindness, respect, to the final exchange date, Victoria and Cameron have been professional and personable throughout. We have been kept completely up to date with viewings, feedback and more latterly, the final moving details. Phone calls or email concerns have been answered immediately and my Mother has been able to feel completely confident that she has chosen outstanding agents. In fact, it would be fair to say that whilst not the normal comment from an 86 year old, she told me she would happily adopt Victoria and Cameron!As an over seas daughter, it is impossible to thank, or praise Victoria and Cameron enough, for all their attention to my mother’s sale and for the frequent emails and phone calls to me too.Savills are, quite simply, head and shoulders above the rest.

Very bad communication

Very bad communication, we made our offer for renting a flat, they accepted it and there were delays with the contract which we received after the pre-set 'moving date'. They haven't changed the move-in date in the tenancy agreement even if we moved 3 days after. Once we moved in, they appointed us a property manager and we could not get in contact with them, nor anyone else at the agency. We paid 12 months upfront so they felt like they could disregard us. We haven't received the report from the inventory company so we could double check it, and we can't contest it if it's been more than a week since we moved in. Very dissapointed with their services.

Savills CarlisleWe rented a bungalow from Savills Carlisle and the service was fantastic. Judith was amazing, from first meeting her at the viewing she guided us through the whole renting process. She is very friendly and easy to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and emails were answered straight away. Dreadful experience

Dreadful experience. Messed me around the whole time. Website wouldnt work wouldnt book viewing over phone insisted i had to create account just to view the property even though i was having problemsnwuth this. Then after struggling with this i managed to create account and booked viewing I turned up there and they didnt even have key code for safe to get key to goninside the property. So didnt evenbsee the place. Very unprofessional. I wont be wasting my time with this agency again

Very good company for sellers because most of them are traders and they support them.Beware of buying thru their auction , this is the place where you will be mislead , if you buy without doing due diligence, this auction company whatever you see being sold comes back again and again with lower price to catch new innocent buyers , like bait is used to catch the fish, same way innocent buyers are caught thru there network and pricing . Whatever lot you see and think of buying, please go back to previous auction catalogues and you find the the truth and the trick they use for innocents.

She said I should find out myself has she will only have to google it herself. I asked her name she told me that her name wasn’t relevant. Appalling service!!

Victoria Short from Savills in Stamford…

Victoria Short from Savills in Stamford has looked after both the sale on our family home of over 20 years and our search for a new house. Inevitably there were some stresses along the way but Victoria and all the team in the office were efficient and patient throughout, with particular effort and good negotiation skills in the last frazzled days before exchange of contracts. The wider marketing and pr team secured a feature in the Financial Times property section which led to quite a few new viewings. All in all, I would recommend.
