I’ve been fortunate enough to purchase my first home, and I couldn’t have found a better agent to support me through the process. Joe Gregory was my contact and explained each step of the process as we went through it while always giving me a heads up on what was next, as well as updates on the progress. Joe was also super helpful when I needed to settle some concerns on the property, taking me over and giving me to space to ease those concerns. Of the four agents interviewed for sale, Joe came across as the most sincere and honest. Open about the process and helpful in explanations. Competitive on commission. Joe also took the promo photos which honestly came out very well. Communication was great. The eventual buyers (as first timers) needed a lot of input, we felt Joe went above and beyond in this and handled the situation well. Joe could at times over explain and offer thoughts from best to worst case scenario’s…personally this wasn’t a problem for me but some might struggle more (but this is being picky). For a small office the process ran well and you do get the full attention of Joe compared to other agents where we felt it more uncertain.

Best estate agent in the area

When I moved from Lower Earley to Earley some years ago, the sellers were represented by Joe at Martin & Pole. We were really impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail. When we planned to move from Earley some years ago, it was a no brainer for us to use Joe for that sale. As it happened, circumstances changed for us and we opted to stay in Earley and not sell. However, when we needed to sell my fathers property as a probate sale, we used Martin & Pole. Once again Joe, Katherine and Dawn were all really professsional and helpful. Joe has been in the business in this area for a long time so he knows the area and the market better than anyone. Personally, I wouldn't bother going to any other agent.

Joe Gregory and his colleagues at the Silverdale Road branch of Martin and Pole gave us excellent service from start to finish of the sales process. Joes experience of the local market meant we asked and got a good price for the house we were selling for our Mum. We sought sales quotes from other local agencies but Joes was the best and the final sale came in at above what the others had been proposing as an asking price. Joe kept us in touch with developments as the sale progressed, gave sound advice for setting the house pre-sale, help with sorting out other services like the energy survey and Conveyancing solicitors not being locals ourselves. When issues crept into the sales process Joe dealt even handedly with us and our buyer, he remained calm and professional even when we were beginning to fray at the edges. The most important aspects of the house sale were all dealt with superbly by Joe and Silverdale road branch, the offering, the sale and closing the deal. Joes advice has been consistently sound and of the highest calibre. I cant thank all the staff at Silverdale Road for all they have done to get the sale done for Mum. Cannot recommended highly enough.
