GoogleAbsolutely appalling experience with Fine & Country. We are now engaged in litigation directly related to the conduct of this agency during a recent property transaction.
Throughout the sale process, Fine & Country demonstrated a disturbing lack of professionalism and integrity. They repeatedly misrepresented key facts, failed to disclose material information, and acted in a manner wholly inconsistent with their duties to prospective buyers. At no stage were they transparent: they did not disclose that the property was a receiver-led sale (as they were required to do) until after we had submitted our offer, and only disclosed a clear conflict of interest, namely, that the agent had longstanding personal and professional ties to both the seller and the receivers, days before exchange.
Fine & Country gave assurances that warranties existed for both the construction and appliances, which turned out to be entirely false.
These were not minor oversights, but serious misrepresentations that affected the terms and value of the transaction.
When the receivers attempted to retrade on a number of terms that had been commercially agreed for some time, including points that had been explicitly included as conditions of our offer, as accepted, Fine & Country did not act impartially or constructively. Instead, they adopted an aggressive, defensive posture and outright denied agreements that were clearly documented. Their conduct was not just unhelpful, but actively obstructive.
In my view, Fine & Country acted with blatant disregard for their professional obligations and contributed directly to a significant financial and legal burden for my family. Proceed with caution.

We found the agency’s conduct throughout the transaction to be deeply unprofessional. Key information was withheld, communication was evasive, and there appeared to be no regard for transparency or ethical standards. Rather than acting as honest brokers, they consistently acted in ways that undermined trust and fairness.
We are now dealing with the legal and financial consequences of this experience, and I would strongly advise others to be extremely wary.
