TrustpilotMy experience with Walker Singleton has…
My experience with Walker Singleton has been extremely disappointing. I discovered there was a gas meter in my unit that I had never been told about. Walker Singleton arranged to have it removed, but I was then informed there were around six years' worth of standing charges associated with it. I believe this situation should have been identified and dealt with long before it became my problem.

GoogleAfter 32 years in our present home and after much deliberation we decided to downsize. It's a well known fact that moving is one of the most stressful times that anyone will experience. We chose Walker Singleton Queensbury, our local High Street agency. Although the cost is greater than online agencies we wanted a more personal connection. This proved to be the best decision , e.g. to be able to talk face to face, telephone contact, the support , guidance and advice was invaluable. A big thank you to Gemma and team and a special thank you to Josie for her personal contact throughout. Linda & Ken .

TrustpilotPlease avoid this company due to suspicious activity
Please avoid this company. I requested an exit from the contract due to being double billed. They did not set up a proper payment system and then tried to claim i had not paid rent for an office when i had. I have full evidence of this and confronted them. One invoice was clearly marked paid and they requested i paid again. I suspected fraudulent activity and threatened to involve the police.

It's important to note they handled both the sale of ours and our onward purchase and despite some vendor complications everything completed as required for all parties. GoogleGemma at Walker Singleton's Queensbury was extremely polite and efficient, we felt at ease with her and she knew exactly what we wanted from our sale. She also took some very flattering photos (just a shame it rained on the day). House sold quickly. We would use them again if needed but hopefully we have now found our forever home. I purchased furniture from Walker Singleton’s online auction. When viewing it in person, the item had significant damage not shown in the listing. I also witnessed more damage being done in person. Despite providing photo evidence, they refused a refund and threatened to charge me for storage. I’ve since had to take legal action. I’d advise anyone considering bidding to view in person and exercise caution.

From the valuation, taking the photo's which were superb to the handing over of the keys and everything else inbetween. GoogleFrom start to finish, Walker Singleton in Queensbury were really helpful with selling our home. As first time sellers, we weren't entirely sure of the process, but all of the staff at Walker Singleton were supportive and guided us through the process. The photographs taken were professional and portrayed our home in the best light; the listing was active on RightMove the following day! They worked with us around our schedule to help us ensure we had appointments that were convenient for us, and only with potential buyers that were serious about buying. We had 9 viewings organised within a couple of days of listing, and just over a week later we had 3 offers, and sold after only 9 days on the market. We were unfortunately hit by lockdown, as many were, but Walker Singleton kept the dialogue open and worked with us until we could eventually move. Wouldn't hesitate to engage with Walker Singleton in Queensbury if moving ever again. Thanks.

GoogleFrom the first contact with Walker Singleton the service was professional, efficient and friendly. Following the first visit by Gemma where she came initially to “measure up”, she took some photographs of the outside of the property as it was such a beautiful day and said she would return later in the day to photograph internally, which she duly did. The quality of the photographs were excellent and along with the written description accurately described the property. The property was put on the market on the Thursday evening and by Friday evening we had three viewings. A further viewing was arranged for early the following week for another potential buyer. We received two offers at the full asking price and accepted the offer from a cash buyer. Throughout the process we were kept fully informed by Josie who liaised with the buyer, the two solicitors involved and ourselves. I would highly recommend Walker Singleton to anyone wishing to sell their property. Thank you, M Heywood

Absolutely clueless and have no interest in their clients or potential clients. It took 4 phone calls and 4 emails to get the person dealing with one of their commercial properties, Fortune Nguwo, to actually make an appointment for us to view in the first place. He advised us at the appointment that the commercial let we were looking for could be completed within 7-14 days. We submitted our application and requested information the day after our appointment. We received no response from FN or any of his colleagues. We chased up our application on a number of occasions. We eventually got through to him and was told our application had been declined as our company was "insolvent" as it had a mortgage of £115k and a bank balance of £20k. The clueless employee of Walker Singleton had failed to take into account that the mortgage was on a property asset worth over £250k and therefore wasn't insolvent. When pointed out to him that you dont have a mortgage without having an asset mortgaged, he was having none of it. Absolutely clueless. Since the appointment we have found a property with another company, passed the credit checjs, signed our lease and moved in. Unsurprisingly, the property Walker Singleton is advertising is still vacant.

GoogleAlthough I appreciate the current pandemic makes running a business more challenging I consider that insisting my daughter produce proof of a mortgage application and proof of sufficient funds to pay a deposit to view a property as disgraceful and surely not an acceptable practice. My daughter is a first time buyer and has already put an offer on another property and is looking to purchase her first home. She will not be doing this through Walker Singleton and I would advise anyone considering using them to sell a property consider the impact of refusing genuine potential buyers from viewings.

Recently purchased a property that was marketed by Walker Singleton. The entire team were very helpful from start to finish and Gill, the sales progressor, was absolutely wonderful. She was busy dealing with all the little issues between solicitors quickly and reassuring myself (first time buyer) that whilst this was frustrating, these were perfectly normal things. Thank you ever so much!

GoogleCannot recommend them enough they helped me sell a property I was mainly in contact with Lisa who was supportive throughout this whole process from start to end I was kept in contact by emails and phone calls and was provided with regular updates. Would definitely recommend them whether your selling or buying a property.
