From the beginning of the process of selling our house (which had been on the market already with another estate agent for over a year) to finally selling Carys Price has been utterly amazing, friendly, informative all the way through and made us feel at ease and welcome. We cannot thank her enough for all the hard work she has done on our behalf, nothing has been too much trouble. We will miss her now we have sold.

If I could give zero I would. I would never buy or sell with Chancellors because of the experience I had with the Llandrindod Wells branch. On the day of completion I came up from Southampton. There was a problem in that the water needed to be connected at the mains outside the property. I arranged for an engineer to do this at 2pm. The sale had not completed by this time. The staff in the branch knew about the problem. I arrived at 12pm. I asked if one of them could come out to open the property so the engineer could connect the water. The engineer needed it to be open to check there were no leaks. There were two of them in the branch. The property was 5 minutes drive. They told me that one person had appointments. They would have only needed to shut the branch for 15 minutes! There were covid restrictions in place anyway. This was the completion day and they did not want to help me. To put it bluntly they didn't give a toss but said I'd just have to wait! The woman was aggressive. The engineer even waited 20 minutes! I pleaded with them. There were still two of them in the branch at 2pm. The engineer had to leave. As a result I had no running water for a day. I couldn't use the loo or have heat or water! I was not able to stay in a hotel! This caused me much stress. Avoid! There are much better estate agents in the town.

Disgusting company DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. As a tennant I was lied to and treated like vermin. Staff will happily let other people into the property when you are not there, someone called Joanne let herself into the flat I was renting whilst I was in work. She also let in the tennant that lived in the property below. When I enquired about this I was lied to again by Steven Slark telling me the other tennant held the door open even though I have camera footage of the two of them in the flat. They are unable to write down numbers correctly too, multiple times I gave them my contact number and they still ended up leaving voicemails on random peoples numbers. Its been a week since I returned the keys to the property and I still haven't heard from them in regards to my deposit. What else? Oh I spent a whole year in a flat without a bathroom door as they refused to fix it.

Over the past few weeks I’ve had wonderful & helpful conversations with Rhodri and Carys. After debating a move to Wales to be closer to family I was unsure where to start and from a friends recommendation they steered me to Chancellors and told me to ask for Rhodri. He went above and beyond to guide me through what property’s were available after asking what I was looking for. He sent over emails providing me with listings and checked on me to see if I needed any more help. Carys also offered help when I called for more information. They helped me out a lot and put my mind at ease. Thank you both so much.

Loads of appointments we had scheduled with this agents…I think 12 at one point, and driving hundreds of miles! Hours in the car! And could anyone from this agents be bothered to communicate with us? No! No agent turned up. Other properties they just canceled without telling us. No reason given. Told us properties were sold and we couldn’t go view them only to book them and allow others to view. I will never have anything to do with any chancellors office anywhere. Horrible horrible horrible.

In that time they have consistently managed to find great tenants in a very short time.
