As an estate agent Michael Humphries was brilliant. He sold our house in a few days and then when we lost our buyer through Covid lockdown he sold it again in a few days. Amazing! However, we used their conveyancing solicitors and sales progression team which we feel was a mistake. We received no communication at all when the Covid lockdown happened as to what they were doing, if anything. When the estate agents opened up again after lockdown we got good communication from Michael Humphries while he was selling the property. However, after that, despite numerous phone calls and emails asking for what was happening the solicitor from Jasper Vincent's in Southampton virtually ignored us and all the Sales Progression team from Leaders could say was 'it's progressing nicely' and 'I will send an e-mail chaser'. Despite asking many times, not once did we get an estimate of when the sale might complete except for when the Solicitors secretary phoned up one day and asked if we could exchange that day to complete 8 days later! I cannot fault them as estate agents, hence the five stars but, based upon our experience, I am unable to recommend their legal and sales progression team.

I'm not normally one for reviews, i have never really thought about doing them to be honest but credit where credit is due. Louise has been brilliant since taking over our property care. I have been renting with leaders portsmouth for nearly 8 years and been left frustrated at times with lack of movement/communication when it came to repairs. I gave up trying to get our leaking conservatory fixed despite reporting on each house inspection (never hearing back) and contacting. Please ignore this negativity though as this was a few years ago. 5 stars is deserved - Louise took control of our property a while back and since then any repairs needed have been quick and communicated throughout. Also, I mentioned the conservatory problem to her and she got his resolved! I recommend using leaders Portsmouth.
