My partner and I had been searching for the right home for over 2 years with an array of different estate agents in the area. We found that through all the viewings, McHattons always seemed to be the most knowledgeable and helpful about finding any information regarding properties for sale. We finally found one we both absolutely loved and Simon was very well versed regarding the property and had outstanding knowledge of the area. Although the process was made very difficult the staff at McHattons made every effort to help and support us through the journey and for that we cannot thank them enough. We hope we stay in this property for a long while yet but if and when the time comes we will definitely be returning to McHattons. Thanks again to Terence, Simon and all the staff at McHattons for absolutely outstanding service. 5 ⭐️ 🏡

Where do I start! Over the last two years we have been looking for our first home and have had multiple viewings with McHattons and other agents. From these experiences, we always felt that McHattons were far more friendly and knowledgeable than other estate agents in the area. We finally found our first home back in November 2025 after viewing the property with Simon. Simon was very knowledgeable about the property and the circumstances of the sale. During the process of purchasing the house, we faced multiple challenges and issues with the seller. McHattons handled every issue promptly, with professionalism and patience. If we were ever unable to contact Simon, we could always rely on the friendly staff at McHattons, and Terence in particular, to support us and help solve any problems. We have finally received the keys to our first home and it’s safe to say that without McHattons, I don’t think we would have got there. I cannot recommend this fantastic agent and their incredible staff highly enough. We hope to stay in our home for a long while, but when the day comes to sell, we will certainly come back to McHattons. Thank you all again!

I can honestly say that Simon, Hassan and all of the McHattons team offer a professional service from valuation right through to completion. Our property was fairly niche and took a while to sell, however, Simon was always encouraging and provided regular updates on viewing stats etc. The actual sale process was fairly complex being a leasehold. There were times of significant stress, and Simon was brilliant at liaising with our solicitor and the buyer’s solicitor to keep the process moving in the right direction and keeping us informed. The thing that sets this agent apart is their effective communication between all parties and the genuine care they have for their clients, I would recommend McHattons in a heartbeat!

We chose McHattons Estate Agency because they were marketing a property that we were interested in with the view to buying. From the very first contact that we made with a member of staff there, we felt valued as customers. Throughout all our dealings with the staff, there was never any pressure put on us to sell or buy a property. When we decided that we were going to move, we were guided through the process every step of the way by very committed staff. Any questions or queries that we had were always dealt with professionally. We felt we could call in or pick up the phone to have discussions at any time without feeling that our questions or queries were insignificant. When we decided to put our house on the market, the presentation of our property put together by McHattons was second to none. The quality of the photographs and virtual tour was excellent. Would never use again in a million years. Sales manager: Negligent, incompetent, clueless, arrogant, rude. ‘md’: Defensive, argumentative, patronising, pompous. Despite what their dishonest response says they only arranged 2 viewings on the house, and pushed us to accept the lower offer from the 'better buyer,' who turned out to be a nightmare. They also pushed the buyer's interests over ours all the way through. Selling a house is stressful enough. Doing so after the loss of a parent is worse (we sold my mother's house in probate). These people made it far worse than even these circumstances meant it had to be. Awful.
