It was very difficult to choose an estate agent at first because there are so many of them, but after four different visits from local agents using GetAgent, we chose Meyers based on that they seemed to have a wide reach across Dorset and they seemed to have a lot of experience, plenty of quick sales near us, and had great reviews. They had a nice independent feel about them too, rather than a big corporate company. The initial meeting and valuation with their branch manager Darren was very professional and I felt they priced the house well and competitively for the current market. They seem to not overprice their listings either, which in the long run, is better for the seller, but can therefore take ages to sell which isn’t great if you’re wanting to get on and move! Meyers instantly had potential buyers lined up for us within the first week. The team always kept us well-informed with viewings before and after, always giving feedback. We seemed to get offers with almost every viewing. We sold instantly with Meyers, achieving thousands over the asking price. We lost that buyer due to their survey, however, we had more viewings again, and sold achieving just under the asking price. I was happy with that as the market was slow at the time and we found some properties which we could buy and were reachable at our new sale price. During conveyancing, Darren, Emily, and Jorden kept us well-informed as did our solicitor, and both teams kept the chain together. We had to have some building work to our home during conveyancing for our buyer, but between myself and our solicitor, Meyers were good at keeping things together with our buyer and the chain above us, making sure things were running smoothly. I would happy to recommend Meyers to friends and family!

When recently buying our first home and having to deal with lots of estate agents showing us round different properties it became very apparent meyers were so very thorough and approachable and communicative. We didn’t realise there would be Different levels of competence but meyers by far made it to the top. The after care also has been brilliant with regular check ins and helping navigate through complex situations. And just generally making us feel at ease when buying our first home. All staff very professional. If we ever sell our dream home we have just bought I will definitely be using meyers. Thank you team meyers poole. Using Meyers for the sale of our house was the best decision we made. The support and dedication from the whole team was above and beyond, They are a team who genuinely care about you and your property and do what they can to make a difficult process as easy as possible! We were very fortunate to have good communications with a number of members of the team but special mention to Darren who was our number one supporter throughout and we couldn’t be more grateful. Me and my fiancée purchased a property through Meyers. They showed us the property and provided information on demand. Without saying too much there was a slight hiccup but they went above and beyond to rectify this and because of that it caused no inconvenience and still managed to make things go smoothly. We put an offer in and within 10 minutes we had heard back with a thumbs up! Very professional staff. Emily (sales progressor) and Jorden were dealing with our purchase. Couldn’t fault these two. They chased and chased until completion was done and never left us in the dark. Definitely 2 individuals that care about their customers and their jobs. Couldn’t recommend any more! Thank you all 😁

Unfortunately I found them very unprofessional, Put an offer in on a property and was back and forward for weeks was voice noted by the Manager Darren Basically informing me that he thinks I’m gonna get the house, and the vendors are very keen on us, False promises made and hopes given, informed me of a load of stuff about the vendors that clearly wasn’t true, Offer sat on the table for nearly a month before the House went SSTC without even informing us an when I chased informed me there was a higher offer, which I was aware about but with someone that was known for pulling out of property’s and the vendors wasn’t keen at all! Wouldn’t recommend buying through them, Delayed process and constantly chasing with no outcomes, working in the same industry I’m quite aware of the normal procedures and this wasn’t one of them.

Incredible service from Carrie at Meyers, and honestly, from the wider team as well. Every time we called, it was clear the staff worked seamlessly together. We’ve already decided that we will use Meyers when it comes time to sell, purely because of the hands-on approach, professionalism, knowledge of trade and proven skill Carrie demonstrated throughout. For some context, we were in a very difficult position. The solicitors were hiding behind emails, communication had completely broken down, and important details had been missed. Carrie simply did not allow this to continue. She took the reins, spoke directly with all parties involved, and repeatedly got everything back on track. Due to delays caused by the solicitors, we went beyond our notice period, and the agency we were renting from became unpleasant, despite rent being paid through to the end of the month. Carrie spoke with us and then intervened with them as well, helping to calm and control what had become a stressful situation. Carrie is an exemplary and highly skilled estate agent, a title that is used far too loosely these days. She is what I would call a true career professional: someone who excels on the front lines, not through bluffing, but through decisive action. Thank you for standing by us during such a difficult time. You truly were our guardian throughout this process, and I am incredibly grateful for everything you did to support my family.

Meyers could not have been more helpful and proactive in every way . It’s been an absolute nightmare getting my property sold mainly because of the state of the market due to the double council tax . The sale fell through once and the second time has taken several months to exchange . Darren started things off with excellent research which is why I chose Meyers in the first place . Jack then took over and he was so patient with the endless viewings ! Once the sale was agreed Emily took over and she has just been totally amazing coordinating the sale and putting pressure on the solicitors to keep the ball rolling. Meyers sold my house in short time a few goes after a time waster then an issue on exchange on sale 1. This 2nd time was upsetting we so close but they then managed the situation and sold it again in days at full asking price and sped up the process by communicating well with all parties. Staff I dealt with were Darren who was great at the sales side of things and I should know as i am in sales. He pitched perfectly authrative but not arrigant proffesional and casual top chap. Also i would mention Emily who worked tirelessly through the admin issues and also young lad Jack who for his age is very mature and again proffessional . I got a better price than other estate agents suggested by £10,000 and finally i would finish by saying i would use them again.

Meyers estate agent are a great company. But I want to pick out Jack especially who Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. He came round to my home to value and discuss taking the property over from another estate agent. He was courteous, friendly, honest, open and easy to talk to. He didnt bad mouth any other estate agents, nor did he push for our business. He just gave me the facts and opinions I needed. He then returned to take the photos etc but even after all his hard work, he never got to sell the property before it was sold by our original agents. But still he remained genuinely friendly and helpful. Offering advice. He later showed me around properties he was selling and once again, was very professional. He let us look around the houses without following us around trying to talk us into buying it or letting us know where a bed can be positioned. We felt more comfortable with this. But had all the answers to any questions we had. Ive been very impressed with Jack and Meyers overall helpfulness and they way they do business. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell or buy.
