TrustpilotDewsbury Site (Amberwood Chase) - Good overall experience
We bought our Harron Home just over 3 months ago. We had a few ups and downs during the sale process but got there in the end and are now very happy in our new home. The overall quality of the house so far as we can tell is very good, the biggest issue on quality was the painting which was a bit slap dash (but I have heard they have changed contractors for this now). We had around 20 snags (including sorting out the painting) and the last one was taken care of last week, nothing major on the list in any event but 3 months to turn everything round seems reasonable - and the site manager Matt is very helpful and easy to deal with. I would be happy to recommend a home on this particular Harron estate.

TrustpilotBuying a Harron Home has been the worst…
Buying a Harron Home has been the worst mistake of our lives. They are an arrogant company that are profit driven and totally ignorant to the customers. We have sent hundreds of emails and made calls almost daily to try and resolve our issues and after just over 3 years, still not complete.We have taken over 23 days of Leave to meet CSO's, out of which they turned up just 14 times. Customer services simply do not care. This has been the single biggest mistake we have ever made. The houses are built by cheap, low skilled workers resulting in very bad workmanship and severe issues further down the line. Do yourself a massive favour DO NOT BUY A HARRON HOME, if you have put down a deposit WALK AWAY. You will regret buying one. One star is one too many.

We moved into our new house three weeks ago and have been happy with the service we have received from the Harron Homes staff at the Dewsbury site. The customer service we received at the beginning of the process was excellent, with quick responses to any of our concerns. We had our house demo and due to our circumstances had to move in quickly so the snagging list had to be done on our second day in, but the site agent was very obliging and he got started on the jobs within a day! There was nothing major, and out of the list of twelve concerns only four items need resolving and these are programmed in for next week. Overall, we are very happy with our brilliant new home and the service provided from Harron Homes (Dewsbury site), with special thanks to Jo & Matt. Therefore I have no doubts in recommending buying a new home from Harron Homes at the Dewsbury site.

Shocking! I’m taking legal action against them! I’ve emailed them 14 times!! In 3 months and no reply I’ve rang up also and they say ‘everyone is busy someone will ring you back’ and shock no one rings you back!Once they have your money they don’t care afterwards! They have breached their contract and this is why I am taking legal action so we will see what happens when it’s taken to court DO NOT BUY from this company!

HORROR HOMES We purchased our house on Feb 2020.We are still waiting for our snags to be completed, this is after our upstairs flooded, the bath water came through the kitchen ceiling, half of our living room Ceiling had to be removed due to bad plumbing, and customer service is the worst we've ever encountered.They either make appointments then don't turn up, or turn up when not expected.The customer service is even worse on site.I had my disabled mother visit, and my father parked on our drive, so I parked in one of the 5 empty show room spaces, the other 2 were occupied by the terrible sales staff.I went to collect my car, still 5 spaces clear,and there was a note on my car.I went to the sales office and asked why they felt the need to put a letter on my car, it was only for a few hours which I explained was because my mother was visiting and she is disabled.I was told to contact customer service ( very rarely get a reply) I was then told by the younger women, I should have bought a bigger house with more parking. We have a four bedroom detached house!!!I was absolutely gob smacked.If I was the owner of Harron homes, I'd be asking why the homes are not selling. This may be a little clue.I am beyind words.I would never recommend buying a Harron home or dealing with the sales team and customer service is dire.

We were impressed by the quality of the build at Harron Homes Retford and found the same at Brierley Heath but with the addition of added views and the surrounding park. Ann the sales representative helped in many respects. Being strangers to the area and not able to visit regularly kept us up to date with the build and regular photographs and telephone updates. Provided useful information on where and what was available around Sutton and Mansfield. The site staff have all been polite and carried out the odd repair needed efficiently. All have been helpful. AVOID HARRON HOMES!!!!!!!This company are a joke they pride themselves on building luxury homes ha ha far from it. It's like cowboy builders. The houses are in a shocking state, poor painting plastering brickwork. Leaks from pipes in bathrooms not connected. They bodge so many houses.how they pass CML gods knows its wrong.Ours was a joke.They don't care and their customer service is simply not bothered. Yes the show homes look nice but it's not what you get.Please don't buy trust me go elsewhere save yourselfs the harron hassle.Every review is bad on here that says it all.

We have just moved into our harron home at cressacre green harlington and just want to mention how amazing our home is everything about it is perfect, Jane and bronte have been amazing the customer care is fantastic on this site it really is. The workmen and managers of this site are also fantastic and are very hard working and gone above and beyond for us and for that we are thankful. The new contracts manager of this site is a lovely man and couldn't do enough to make sure he sorted us being on our home for the date we wanted to be in honestly great team and wonderful houses built. Would highly recommend harron homes.

Shipley Lakeside is a unique location. Both Charlotte and Amanda were welcoming, professional and knowledgeable about the development and the surrounding area. We hadn't made an appointment when we visited today and they found time to answer our questions and to help us settle on a house type. We've visited other developments in the local area and their teams weren't a patch on Charlotte and Amanda.

We recently bought a house at Riverdale Park in Doncaster. We honestly can't fault the process. So far any hiccups that we have had have been dealt with in an efficient manner and everyone has been really helpful from Penny the sales executive to Scott the building manager. We honestly cant fault anything so far. The area itself has everything you need opposite the development site. It makes it convenient if you need anything. Its close to a park / a school etc.

From start to finish the whole experience has been seamless. Harron and Jacquie in the sales office in particular couldn’t do enough for us. We had a number of issues with buyers dropping out in our chain and Harron stepped up to make the sale happen keeping us in the loop all the time. When we moved in the house was spotless with nice touches of welcome gifts such as a plug in diffuser making the house smell lovely. Coffee and tea plus biscuits were a nice touch even though the removal men polished off the biscuits 😂Harron historically haven’t always had the best reputation as builders but I can honestly say this is my second new build (first with Harron) and a great customer experience.Based on my experience I would 100% recommend Harron Homes at Fixby Huddersfield

Far Grange Meadows-House is fine enough, but cheaply built. The main problem is that the development isn't finished so we have to deal with builders blasting music all day and shouting and swearing at each other. Not very professional or child friendly. They don't seem to consider that they are working next to people's homes and not on a normal building site.
