We recently used Julian Marks for a property purchase (and sale), despite having a horrific time with legals further down the chain Ellie and Alice (Plympton team) were incredible. From the viewing right through to completion their communication, thorough paperwork, and the chasing of other agents were second to none - all with a clear determination from them both to get the process moving and to complete within a reasonable timeline. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Julian Marks, they’ll also be at the front of the queue if we ever decide to move on again. It’s an easy 5 stars from us!!

Our experience with this company has been extremely frustrating from start to finish. We were misled from the beginning, as we were not informed that another property was being sold in order to purchase ours. On multiple occasions, we were told that we were ready to exchange, and we even have email confirmation of this, yet it never actually happened. The professionalism throughout has been poor. Partway through the process, a new person took over our sale, but we were never properly introduced or informed of the change, which only added to the confusion and lack of communication. Overall, the communication has been shocking, and due to these repeated failures, we also lost out on two higher offers for our property.

We purchased our house through Julian Marks Plympton & dealt with Julia who was amazing from start to finish. She was friendly and professional throughout and so easy to talk to. I never felt as though I was bothering her when asking questions about the progress of the sale etc and she was always happy to help. Our sale & purchase went through really quickly (8 weeks in total) and I honestly don’t think it would have happened so fast if Julia wasn’t dealing with it all & chasing solicitors etc for us. Well what a team, I challenge anyone to find better, right from the start, Wez was the only Agent that talked about upselling all the rest just wanted a sale and did not care what the final price was. Nothing was hidden good news or bad they were open and honest throughout, such a rare thing in this day and age. Everything is documented and communicated in a professional manner. This is the second house they have sold for me and the standards were high on both occasions. Would highly recommend.

When my father-in-law passed away we needed to sell his house. We spoke to other local estate agents as well as Tara from Julian Marks. Julian Marks had a different approach to the others and not having been in this position before we were torn as to which way to go. Fortunately we chose Tara & Julian Marks, we felt much more comfortable with both her and their approach. Best decision we could have made! The house sold very quickly, far exceeding our expectations on value, and when that buyer dropped out after a week or so they resold the home on the same day to the next person on the list that had made an offer. We had to deal with a law firm for probate, a conveyancer (never use DC Law!) & an estate agent. Tara was by miles the most efficient person in that group. I would heartily recommend Julian Marks & thanks Tara.

Wesley greeted us at the first viewing of our dream home after we arranged an appointment through Julian Marks. We made an offer within 20 minutes of walking through the front door. We instructed the team at Julian Marks, Plympton, to deal with our sale. Wesley and his team handled every step of our sale with a high level of professionalism. The team liaised with our solicitor at each juncture and worked quickly to find us another purchaser when our original sale fell through. We've now completed, moved in and couldn't be happier. You can tell from the moment you walk through their office door that detail matters; from the enormous local plan which adorns the office wall to the welcoming smile from the staff. If Carlsberg did estate agents.................... Having been thoroughly let down by another estate agent with the marketing of our property I spoke to Wesley at Julian Marks for some advice. His no nonsense, straightforward honest approach was a breath of fresh air in an industry with a tarnished reputation. Even prior to any decision to use Julian Marks he was available on the phone and paid a visit just for a chat. having decided to then use his services, his professionalism, knowledge and integrity made the whole process a pleasurable experience. There are no gimmicks, no special 'deals', just an assurance they will do what they say, when they say it. I was equally impressed with the viewing they conducted. There was no Estate Agent BS, just open and honest conversations with prospective buyers. The house sold very quickly, and through a protracted conveyancing Wesley was instrumental in keeping the chain informed and calmed any jitters. Having now moved, i never hope to use his services again, but that is in a good way. I would recommend, without any hesitation, Julian Marks to anyone selling.

Branch manager Wesley was right on the case as soon as I called, came over and took great photos and it went straight online as featured property. No hard sell, just sensible honest advice.
