Rang Savills (Perth) today to enquire about local property prices. Understandable that they focus on their own clients, but was literally told that since I wasn’t a client buying or selling through them, they couldn’t help. A little independent Guidance was all I was looking for, even a brief call back or five minutes of someones time would have sufficed. Overall, not the level of service I expected from such a reputable company.

Stephanie Clarke was our first contact at Savills and we could not fault her at all, even when she was taking a few days off she was still emailing from the ferry on which she was travelling. It is difficult to know when to accept an offer or wait for a better one but she gave us all the information we needed to make a wise decision. After we had accepted an offer the rest of the team kept us aware of progress, we never had to chase anyone for more information. We would not hesitate to engage Savills at Perth again.

Stephanie Clarke of the Perth Savills office is the most diligent, conscientious and effective estate agents that I have had the pleasure to deal with. From advising us on how Savills would approach our sale, to arranging the necessary photographs and brochures, to our receiving four good offers, to a completed sale, was a matter of weeks rather than months. Stephanie was available and encouraging throughout the process, including weekends and during her brief holiday which was way beyond the call of duty. Have only worked with Savills as a buyer. Very polite and professional though. They communicate well and take time to talk through things. Only real criticism is that on Saturdays, your call often gets put through to the London office. They can confirm a viewing etc but the property knowledge is in the local office. There is a Savills style of property, whether its a house or a farm but if that is what you want, you won't go wrong with them.

We put our self built family home on the market in February 2020 (just before the pandemic hit uk) it had been on for only a few weeks and we were getting ready to go to a closing date but due to lockdown this was put on hold. However we were back on the Market at the end of July and we sold within a week to a lovely family. Stephanie was our agent and she is amazing at her job, she also loved our house and really understood us as people and what we were all about. She offered excellent advice and supported us right through lockdown, her colleague Elle whom we never met (but spoke to every week) was also fantastic at her job. Two very passionate professional woman who are a credit to Savills. The company as a whole are top class, very professional but not at all pretentious in any way. A dedicated team ready to help.
