GoogleI viewed a property back in July and was shown around by Matt. He was incredibly helpful and clearly very dedicated to looking after his tenants, it was really reassuring. I’m yet to come across an estate agent as committed to their clients as he is! With our tenancy elsewhere soon coming to end, Matt was the first person I thought to get in touch with. I would highly recommend RDR after my experience.

GoogleI contacted RDR Estates with a view to having a survey completed on a property I was considering purchasing. From the initial phone call I found them extremely friendly , professional and helpful where nothing was too much trouble. The survey was carried out the day it was booked for and I received the report within a few days which really impressed me. It was produced in a clear and understanding would make sense to anybody that was reading it. I had a few questions and Dan was really accommodating with his advice and knowledge and I would have no hesitation in recommending RDR Estates. I have some other properties and have already appointed RDR Estates to take over the Letting Management of one of these as I felt they totally understood my needs and I was that impressed with their prompt and friendly service.

GoogleAvoid! Very Unprofessional. Certainly don’t bother with commercial. They don’t hold information on services and Matt advised us not to pay the holding deposit until he had found out about the connection from the water board. We phoned repeatedly for updates for a fortnight as we were told he would be in contact but he never bothered, to be told this morning that Matt is on annual leave for a week and the unit was given to someone else over the weekend, when I have 6 months upfront ready and waiting. I have worked in the property industry for the past decade, so I understand the process well and this was such poor service, I wouldn’t be surprised if the property has gone to a friend of Matts. Thank you for completely wasting our time.

GoogleI would highly recommend RDR Estates Penzance. Conor has been fantastic to deal with. He answers all queries promptly and courteously and has remained cheerful through some of the inevitable hiccups we experienced as first-time landlords. All the admin was handed efficiently and all our concerns listened to and acted upon. A great experience all round.

GoogleThis agency, particularly Matt, has single handedly restored our faith in letting agents. Professional but friendly, knowledgeable and competent. GoogleI needed to secure a survey for a property being purchased in St Ives, to fit in a time window when the property was accessible. Dan responded promptly to my initial enquiry, was clear on the service and price (which was competitive) and advised he would be happy to fit the survey into his schedule in conjunction with when the property could be acccessed. The resulting report (inside a week) is clear and concise and in "layman's" language....a useful report that is easy to review. Many thanks Dan / RDR

GoogleWe were in need of a building survey for our mortgage lenders. We contacted Dan and he was very responsive and contacted us the same day to arrange a survey and talk through what we were needing. The survey was carried out within a week and we had the report within a few days after that. The report was clear, precise and easy to understand without all the ‘technical jargon’ that can confuse the less knowledgeable like myself. GoogleDan from RDR undertook a building survey on a property for me. Got a very prompt response to my enquiry and clarification on the survey to be undertaken and the price. Had bit of wait for Dan to fit the inspection in to his schedule and a time convenient for the house owner but not a problem. Received very clear, well laid layout and comprehensive report on the property from Dan and all done at the agreed fixed price and with no extras. Very pleased with this service from Dan at RDR.

As a property owner looking to let do not use RDR Estates. My tenant left my property in an awful state and RDR did nothing about it despite the fact that I had paid for this service. They gave me the tenant's email address (I'm sure this is against data protection) and told me to bill the tenant myself for cleaning. When I emailed saying that I would like them to bill the client, because the contract he signed was with them and not with me directly, they failed to respond. When arranging a tenancy the agent from RDR lied to both me and my tenant about various things. They told me the inventory was included and then charged me for it. They also told my tenant that council tax was included even though it was made clear by me that it wasn't.

GoogleI was with them for 2 years and they did nothing to keep us safe as we had 4 break ins and a fire and they didn't care we where talking to them for 2 years to get the street door fixed and nothing was ever done. Do not go with this agency.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to see that you were not satisfied with the management of the repairs during your tenancy. In the interest of clarity, we were instructed to manage your tenancy a little over a year ago. This was after the previous agent was sacked by your landlord following the fire in a neighbouring property. We did not handle the repairs for your tenancy, but we always passed any repair notification to the landlord. Therefore the items you have mentioned in your review were not during our management or within our remit. We would like, however to wish you all the very best in your new home and a very merry Christmas.

He called me within 10 mins of my initial enquiry, then followed up throughout exactly as promised, undertaking the survey within 3 working days and delivering his report within 7. The report is comprehensive, detailed and pragmatic. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a full RICS survey in the West Cornwall area.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
