We had a very good experience using lakes estate to sell our home. This was the first time we had sold a home and lakes estate were with us every step of the way. The communication was excellent, always at the end of the phone, with regular check in calls. Their knowledge of the property market in Cumbria is very impressive. The impressive marketing and technology used, including the virtual tour, ensured the value of our property was maximised. Property we visited was absolutely perfect, the agent who showed us around was very knowledgeable and approachable. The only problem was us. There was absolutely nothing for us to do to put our own stamp on it, if we were a few years older, it would have been fine, who knows we may change our minds but we can't thank the vendors and the estate agents for their time.

As a first time seller i cannot put into words how pleased i was that i choose to deal with Lakes Estates, I had inherited a property from my late father which i had very little knowledge about but with the generous amount of help and support from Glenn, Hannah and Rob going above and beyond helping me throughout the whole process, pointing me in the right direction, Constantly keeping me updated on every little aspect in relation to the property not only that but they would even call just to see how i was doing in myself. We were recommended The Lakes Estates by our neighbours. Having been on the market a little while to sell our property with another agent we decided to switch to The Lakes Estates. Very glad we did! The photos were of high quality and the whole team worked hard to sell our house. They were on call whenever we needed them, even weekends which is rare to find in this industry! Even through the most stressful parts of negotiations they were on hand to get the best price possible. They wanted us as the clients to be happy with our decisions with no pressure to accept offers we were not comfortable with. Having sold our home they even helped us move into a rental whilst we waited on our next property purchase. Which really took the stress out of our move. As tenants they also took promt care of any maintenance issues we had. Having bought and sold numerous times over the past few years The Lakes Estates were the best by far. I think that comes down to the fact they actually care about their clients, which is what you need when making stressful and life changing decisions. If we were to move in the future we wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.
