5 stars for the agency and Mrs Dora Seimeni in Warrington's Entwistle Green

I arrived in Warrington in January knowing nobody in the city. Searching a flat online did not help a lot. Walking by entwistle green i decided to enter and ask for more info! Luckily Mrs Dora Seimeni was there who was more than helpful. After she showed me some flats in the city, indecided to review one. Dora could not be more helpful really, she explained everything thoroughly and helped me understand how the bills work, how to accommodate etc. being totally new in the country knowing nothing, i m thankful that i found her. Entwistle Green as well was immediately next to me when something needed to be fixed in my flat! 5 stars, can’t recommend enough both the agency and my agent Dora.

Just dont waste your time

Me and my wife traveled over an hour to view a house, when we arrived the agent lied and said he had sent her a voicemail stating that he had not recieved keys and that the viewing was off, nobody called her phone and they couldnt care less about their customers.. extremely unprofessional

Awful experience would not use again

Awful experience would not use again. I dealt with Gary Trappe at the Burnley branch. He valued our property for £15,000 more than it was sold for at auction where we had felt pressured to sell. Apart from the initial contact to sign the contract I never heard from him again even though he had been kept in the loop via email communication with the suction company - I am sold. It was particularly misleading and deceptive as we had signed a contract less than a month ago with him and there had been no mention of the valuation price changing and certainly not by that much. Either the valuation price had deliberately been set high to entice us or they hadn’t pushed the sale. We ended up making a loss of £15,000 using them and their auction company. They care about getting their fees paid and they really don’t care to make you the maximum from the sale. To that end they do the bare minimum. I would not use again because they don’t consider your best interest only their own.

I was selling a property with them and from the first viewings experience and either poor or clear lack of feedback, l had doubts this was not going to work well. They did not turn up for viewings and the potential buyers had to be escorted by the then tenant?!! After 9 months and reducing the offer price to below market for a quick sale, they found a buyer. Only for the buyer to pull out 8 weeks after agreeing the purchase of the property, as they had not been reassured and kept in contact with by Sales team at Entwistle. I only found out as l chased up with Entwistle and only then was l informed of the buyers decision! Absolute shambles from start to finish! I would not recommend EG from my own experience.

Entwistle Green Morecambe is the place to go if you want to get things done in a professional manner and with efficiency.

The services provided by the staff at Entwistle Green in Morecambe are outstanding and exceptional. I am very delighted and happy about my experience. Staff members work as a team and are very experienced, honest, respectful and effective and just great at what they do. I cannot thank them enough for their service and help. Shaun, Emma, Janice,Emilia,Bryn and Cerys are fantastic. I will always be grateful for their help and support and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I have a house and I finally achieved one of my life goals. I thank them for it because they deserve it.

Absolutely shocking company to sell…

Absolutely shocking company to sell your house with, never keep you in the loop about your house and you have to constantly ring them for updates, tell you there’s nothing they can do to help boost your homes selling, and charged over £5,000 to sell the house as they don’t let you come out the contract as they put in the clause if you cancel and the house sells within 12 weeks they will still charge the £5,400 fee, disgusting company.

Scam avoid at all costs

Entwistle Green Crosby is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The initial inventory was filled with outright lies and took a very long time to rectify, during our rental the problems we reported for maintenance took very long times to be fixed. The exit inventory check was booked for over a month, we both took time off work to attend it because they can not be trusted, only after we had arrived at the property and waited, past the time that they were supposed to arrive did we get a phone call saying that they were not coming. Again we can not trust them to do the inventory without us present to ensure it is done correctly. So we will loose more work to attend if it is rearranged.Disgusting behaviour and a shameful display of customer service.

USELESS - buyers/sellers/renters AVOID

We were in the process of looking at buying at house at the start of this year. We found a house listed with this sorry excuse of an estate agent, and they booked us in for a viewing at 12.15pm. We got to the viewing and within 5 minutes there were at least 50 other people waiting outside to view this house. Everyone that had booked a viewing had obviously brought one of two people with them (a lot of first time buyer couples and their parent/s) so it was absolutely heaving.

Highly do not recommend

I highly do not recommend using Entwistle Green. I dealt with Julie Winkler at the Bury branch. Extremely unhelpful and rude. She made it impossible to book a viewing for a house I was interested in buying. I since contacted the seller directly, to be told that the seller had been lied to on numerous ocassions and Julie was pushing for an inside job to sell the property to a property developer. Very unprofessional.

Rat infestation but they don’t think…

Rat infestation but they don’t think that’s urgent enough to ring landlady. The lady dealing with it isn’t in work but somehow they can’t tell me anything because she’s not in! What sort of a process is that when colleagues can’t check on what’s happening with maintenance issues. When I asked why they can’t ring rather than email landlady they hung up on me hope they don’t chew through electrics as if I was paying for property management for my home I wouldn’t be very happy.

Went to view a property and spoke to the landlord of the house and Joe from Entwistle I advised the landlord I didn’t have the best credit and he advised me that shouldn’t be a problem Joe was very insistent that I pay the £161 fee for the search he was trying to get me to do it while I was looking at the house (very pressurising) he also rang the office (he must have a different number to most people as the girl picked up straight away) and the girl said well done (sounds commission based to me to get people to pay and they honestly have no intention of giving you the property ) I have since been trying to get the maghul office and no one picks up to discuss why no one had let me know the outcome I had to get through to them via zoopla and the poor guy had to advise me I have also asked for a follow up phone call but I’m still waiting **** very poor service ***** Be aware they take your money and normally have someone in mind for property or it’s already gone and yet they will still charge you ***** I wouldn’t normally write a review but I feel people need to be aware

I'd like to leave this review to assist other's in their choice of Estate Agent when selling a property.Entwistle Green [Blackpool Branch] are a professional company I would recommend to family and friends.They marketed my property and within a week I had an offer, which I accepted. The staff are approachable, friendly and willing to assist with queries regarding the selling process. Nothing is too much trouble.Unfortunately I experienced solicitor problems which became quite serious. I was stressed, worried and at the end of my tether.Darren Sellwood at the Blackpool branch of Entwistle Green was an absolute life saver. I cannot praise Darren enough....he stepped in and assisted me with the solicitor issues. He went above and beyond to help me and kept me from losing my sanity. At the end of the day, an estate agent's role is to sell your home, not constantly chase solicitors. But Darren took everything in his stride and did just that. Without his help, I'm certain my buyer would have 'cut his losses', withdrawn his offer and moved onto a different property.Yesterday contracts were exchanged to complete on the 19th August!!Darren is approachable, friendly, good-humoured and always willing to help. His customer service is exceptional! He guided me through the selling process and gave sound, sensible advice.I can't thank him enough....he is 'My Hero'I would recommend the Blackpool Branch of Entwistle Green to family and friends with no hesitation whatsoever. Great Customer Service

After some mix ups with the referencing Claire Phelps the Branch Manager at Entwistle Green personally contacted me to assist with a resolution. She kept in contact with me for 2 days ensuring me that she was working on fixing the mistakes that had been made that were not even her fault. We came to a solution today and I cannot thank her enough for helping us through this stressful time, I would highly recommend Entwistle Green purely because of Claire. Also a special mention to Mandy who has been our point of contact throughout our tenancy and has always been prompt and helpful with any issues we have had.Thanks again to Claire and Mandy!

Honest opinion

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. This estate agent was unprofessional and unresponsive throughout the entire process. Communication was slow (if it happened at all), and I constantly had to chase for updates. I felt completely in the dark, and it seemed like they had no real interest in helping or providing a decent level of service.

Stay well away! They will Gazump You

Only gave one star because I couldn’t write a review with zero! These people are liars who are just trying to get as much out of you as they can. Two and a half weeks ago I viewed a house to be told the lady was wanting a quick sale. And to make a offer and the next day final offers would be took to be fair and not mess anyone around! I made a offer. The next day I was asked for my highest and final offer and told no more offers would go forward from here. A few hours later I was told my offer was accepted. I then got this in writing two days later and was told the house was taken off the market and no viewings would take place now I had my offer accepted. I have paid solicitor fees to get searches done, I have paid the Morgage advisor because he has sent off for our Morgage. Our help to buy isas have been closed and sent for. Today I have a call to say someone else has put a higher offer in and I’ve lost the house. Gazumped! Entwistle green are unprofessional and lie stay well away ! The house is still on Zoopla and right move it has not been taken down! Now I have no house and hundreds of pound out of pocket for fees one paid for trying to do everything right for the sale! How is this fair !

I 100% recommend Entwistle Green Allerton

A big thankyou to the ladies at Entwistle Green Allerton, especially Gail, Bev and Ellie. We have several properties with various agents but these are by far the best agents we have used. We are renting out a flat in Allerton, it needed some work doing, we had problems getting tenants in. Within 3 weeks of contacting Entwistle Green, they have sorted out all the work at the best cost with little involvement from us, advertised it and got a great tenant in who is paying 6 months in advance. They did it with a smile, professionalism, hard work and they really seem to enjoy their job. We are on a full management agreement and don't expect to spend anywhere near the time or stress we previously had with this property, leaving it in their capable hands. I am now giving Entwistle Green Allerton the management contract for my HMO in Manchester. I fully recommend this team, haven't got a bad word to say about them.
