Best letting agent experience I’ve ever had. Been with a few different ones while at university and Shepherd Sharpe has been by far the most supportive team I’ve dealt with. This year we started renting our second property with them and the experience of going from the old place to the new one was a seamless as you can ask for. They also have been very helpful in resolving any issues that arised in the property we were/are renting. Also wanted to note that all the properties we’ve viewed with them were genuinely nice (even if not all were the right ones for us) so they seem to be really focused on the quality of properties they represent.

I have had a lot of contact with the lettings side of Shepherd Sharpe over the last two years on behalf of my mum who rented through them. They have been brilliant. They have been consistently professional, responsive and responsible in their approach to looking after the property and their tenant. And above all, and most importantly, they have been unbelievably kind. They really went above and beyond for my mum and my family in some stressful circumstances. This kindness, care and thoughtfulness has been evident since the beginning, in all the staff, and indicates a really decent company with humanity and decency at its heart. I would have no hesitation in recommending Shepherd Sharpe to anyone.

We've sold two properties through Shepherd Sharpe. The first, a few years ago, was a terraced house in town, the second was a Semi-detatched on Clinton Road. The first property sold within a week. The quick sale made us a bit worried that it had sold too cheap. later research showed us that it had sold above market value. The sale process was smooth and easy with equal respect to the buyer and seller. We've just exchanged on my mother's house in Clinton Road. We've been clearly advised throughout. The team had a list of interested parties before we even approached them. We got offers before it was listed. Hats off to the team because we rejected them all! Once listed, they set up buyers and we got the price we wanted and the buyer we wanted. We were keen to sell to a family who would return the house to it's former glory and they took that into consideration. They've listened to both ours and the buyers requirements and managed to strike a balance in between. This has made the process smooth and easy. Throughout the process, I was confident that they had my best interests in mind. Shepherd Sharpe have the expertise of local knowledge and an established business in the area. If you're a seller, they'll listen to your needs and deliver. If you're a buyer, they'll put your case forward and offer clear, practical advice at all times.

Absolute awful service company n people to deal with. Have no manners or respect for customers. Went to see a house n loved it with my husband n called straight away and asked for a call back from the person we dealt with, she was busy when a person called Louise answered the phone n she was meant to call us back, but 2 hours down the line no call back so we called again. This time she gone home only without calling us back. So that Louise women got all our details when we said we want the house. In the meantime when we went to see the house we were the first people to see that house as it was just put in the market. That Louise women took my number n said exactly don't call us we will call u. 2 days down the line no call back, we remembered that lady said the owners of the property was the local church. When we didn't get any reply from the agency we got hold of the people from the church n told them what happened n they said they will speak to the agency n they will call us. Which they did in the most cockiest manner n told us it's more people interested n they need to wait for them. I thought we were the first people to see that house n wanted it. 5 days since we seen the house n we just don't know what else to do. Just don't waste ur time with this place.

Very very diappointed with this company and would not recommend them due to unprofessonal and uncommunicative approach. I viewed a property with a friend who is registered disabled on the Friday, my friend fell in love with it and called the office straight away to ask to take it. My friend was told on the Monday they could have the property and were asked by the agency if they could move in within 2 weeks. My friend said they would speak to the landlord and get back to them as soon as they had heard from them. After getting hold of his landlord and told that was no problem,my friend called the agency back first thing the next morning . He was then told they had given the property to someone else who could move in that week. This option was not even offered to my friend. He had by this time given his notice in on his current property and put plans in place. He was so incredibly disappointed and was looking forward to moving into this property by the sea and having a new lease of life following his accident which had left him partially disabled.I feel strongly that the agency discriminated against my friend as he is disabled and they would rather go with someone who is not. I called to register a complaint with the manager. They took my details and said he would call me back. He didn't contact me - clearly they do not care about curent or potential customers, integrity or their reputation if my experience is anuything to go by. Inredibly disappointing, their lack of professionalism and communication during this situation has been very bad indeed.
