We cannot recommend Wallers enough for their incredible customer service. Rob was extremely supportive, helpful and professional throughout the process. Had a bad experience of viewing a property yesterday. Little respect to the customer and time of appointment. The appointment was booked for 5:30pm. We were not given a name or personal contact number for the person who will show us around the property. We arrived at the property 5:28pm. Nobody was around outside. We tried to ring the bell, nobody answered. After waiting till 5:35pm, still no sign of anyone showing up, we called their branch (by the time, it was indicated as closed on Google map). Luckily someone picked up the call, while we were explaining our situation, someone opened the curtain and gave us a gesture, which we had no clue what that meant. Then he popped out, with no apologies of running late, just asked us to wait outside as the previous appointment overran. We waited until 10min past our appointment time. He allowed us in and still no apologies and no good introduction to the property. In the middle of the viewing, he just started to make a phone call as he was in the middle of an auction…. Definitely discounted the property I viewed….

Rowan, Claire and the team at Wallers have provided excellent service throughout! I purchased a house requiring renovation with wallers back in 2020. Now my partner and I are ready to move on, we chose to sell through Wallers again due to the fantastic service we received when purchasing. The team knew me well already, and understood that this sale was not going to be the most straightforward. This didn't phase them at all. Claire went above and beyond throughout the transaction, getting involved and putting in the leg work where my solicitor failed to do so. Sure, an online only estate agent may be cheaper, but when you face issues with a sale or purchase, which almost everyone does, are they going to be there like Wallers was for me? Probably not. Thanks again to all the team!

Honestly don't know why they have such good reviews, protecting landlords from hell. Rented out a house through them last year as naive students. Corrupt landlord, when we first moved in the house had obviously not been cleaned. There was also a dehumidifier in one of the bedrooms, which she lied about and said it was there to help some paint dry or something, if only we knew the truth. Fast forward a few months and there is fluffy mould GROWING out of the wall, amongst black mould in every single bedroom. She first tried to say it was our fault, and tried to bring in her own man to look at it, who wasn't much help. We eventually got the council involved and he said before even walking into the house there were structural issues, and once inside, said in that room specifically there was evidence of a shoddy job to cover mould being done over and over again. We eventually found out even the last tenants had got the council involved over mould, and so this 'tile drying' business was obviously a lie from day dot. We told the estate agents considering the mould was so serious that all of the girls constantly had chest infections and our parents complained of us smelling like mould whenever we came home, and the lady told my dad to cut Norsheen (our corrupt scammer of a landlord) some slack as she has 'children to look after, and so is very busy.' It eventually got sorted, but only after a long battle with her that only gave us a couple months left of our tenancy with clean air to breathe. That being said, a few months after we moved out, a video got out of the entire ceiling collapsing (probably due to rot inside it), so it doesn't sound like she's taken up home improvement as a hobby recently. Honestly wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot barge pole, if you're a student do your research first, they protect scamming, poor landlords and have no concern for your health or wellbeing, don't let them ruin your uni experience any more in addition to covid.

Rowan has recently helped us with a variety of property matters including letting out 2 shops, through his new commercial branch of the business. The service has been FANTASTIC. We have 2 wonderful tenants moving into our newly renovated shops in St. Clements, Oxdord... and that was during the Covid pandemic with lockdown sagas, INCREDIBLE!! Rob found us perfect tenants very quickly for a flat we needed to let at short notice and carried out thorough checks whilst maintaining a friendly, casual manner. The tenants really liked him and we do too. Wallers' fees for the tenants (as well as for landlords) are very reasonable and therefore not off-putting for tenants. Rob is conscientious and committed to his job and goes way beyond duty (sent texts late in the evening, early in the morning and at weekends). He was very communicative throughout with us and the tenants. I highly recommend Wallers to any potential landlord or tenant. The other staff in the office are also very helpful and pleasant.

Rowan started off fantastic lots of viewing of our property we were updated every Tuesday but after a month it felt like our house was dead in the water We heard nothing we had to e-mail rowan where we thought he would have had a few ideal to fresher up our property but nothing. I feel like the information on the Web site was not good enough either the floor plan took a while to be put up and it didn't even say if our house was gas or electric so People were viewing who wanted gas waste of time our house is electric. Tho a very man I just feel we were too Small of a fish in his big pond so go careful or your house will get forgotten

I've been buying and selling property in Oxford for over 10 years and have executed probably around 10 purchase and sale transactions in that time, so I'd say I have a pretty good handle on the Estate Agency market here. Wallers of Oxford dealt with the 2 most recent transactions, and I'll never again be looking for a new agent. Rowan is an exceptional talent - he listens for starters, which is rare... all the listings on Rightmove were Premium, attracting the most hits. He sold our house for an above-market price within a week! Not only were his fees lower than every other agent, but because he handles the viewings himself, I was confident that the quality of viewings was high, unlike some larger agents who palm you off with the junior or Saturday staff for viewings. If there were 6 stars, I'd be using that. Top class outfit

Not only is he brilliant at his job but he is one of the only estate agents I have ever met who actually had our best interests at heart. We recently used Wallers Estate Agents to get a student house for our 2nd year at uni. We were all very impressed with how we were dealt with and how accommodating the company were. Rob dealt with us from the beginning and was very good at communicating each step to ensure we got it all correct and it ran smoothly. Not like your average estate agent.... Rowan (and his team) have lifted the bar high and most if not all agents could take a lesson from him. We are a developer and he has sold the majority of the 16 private houses on our site. He has taken the time to learn all the idiosyncrasies of the sustainable houses that we build and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
