I couldn’t thank David at the Docklands branch enough for his outstanding support throughout our property rental journey. This has genuinely been the best experience we’ve ever had with an estate agent. He was always quick to respond, highly proactive, and incredibly effective at solving any issues that came up. Advice on sale of flat

I went to the Docklands branch and spoke to Tushar about the sale of my property. A very constructive meeting - Tushar clearly has a lot of knowledge and experience, which really put me at ease, (thankfully, as I know from experience how stressful selling one’s home can be). I came away with a good idea of how I want to move forward and checklist of the things that need to be done. Definitely worth considering paying a visit to John D Wood + Co if you are thinking of selling up.

Not that I have been purchasing homes left and right, I had a lot of experience by now from interacting with estate agents. The amount of detail Wai Yee was able to relay about the historical property is simply amazing. Although the property itself was amazing from the first sight, Wai's introduction was a big part of finding our home. He was involved in every step of the process, very professional, keen on helping both sides equally and remaining fair to both seller and us at the same time. Our sale of a property in Surbiton was complicated by the fact that everything had to be managed from overseas. We were fortunate in being directed to John D. Wood and Co at the Surbiton branch, where we have nothing but praise for the professionalism and efficiency of Luke Dwyer and Theo Harding. There were many issues which caused delays in the process of this sale, but at all times Luke was quick to be in touch and to advise on the way forward. I rarely write reviews but felt that this outstanding agency and especially the agent who helped us, Julian, deserve every ounce of praise I could possibly heap on them/him! The whole house buying process was made friendly, human, completely down-to-earth with his care, attention, helpfulness and knowledge. For context, we looked at houses with 12 different Oxford-based agencies. All of the other 11 felt like various levels of good or bad service, but all of the interactions were perfunctory, formal, and always felt like we were being tricked for not knowing this or that savvy real-estate know-how. John D. Wood was a COMPLETELY different experience, so much so it is not even on the same scale. It was completely human, unhurried - Julian felt like a friend. He never pushed anything on us; was completely frank about the properties, was open about pros and cons, and (this is really amazing) answered all my messages within minutes, even on Sunday nights... it really was like no service I have ever experienced. I would honestly stay in touch even after completion :)) The team at the agency (beyond Julian) was extremely knowledgeable, prompt and helpful. The mortgage broker they recommended sorted all our troubles with the banks. Every moment of the process was smooth, straightforward, honest. We have gone from looking at properties to actually moving in to our dream home in a matter of months. This would not have been possible without John D. Wood and I am extremely grateful for it. Could not praise them highly enough. Thank you for what seems one of the most important decisions in our lives! Really you have made the difference between "House" and "Home."
