What can I say! Rutley Clark have been absolutely brilliant throughout our whole selling process. We were struggling to get any viewings with our previous estate agents so had a meeting with Claire and the difference was obvious immediately. The professionalism and attention to detail is amazing, presenting the house in the best possible way. We had viewings immediately and received several offers. Being at the end of a chain is not the best place to be and due to weak links further down the chain the selling process took longer than expected but Lola and Claire were absolutely fantastic at keeping things moving. The communication throughout has been brilliant and the kindness and support given to us throughout the whole stressful process has been greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

After months with other agents, I switched to Claire Roberts. From our first conversation to completion each step was handled thoughtfully and transparently. Rutley Clark’s presentation included high-quality photography and a distinctive brochure in which the story of the house was told. Viewings were arranged quickly, feedback was timely. Any concerns I may have had about using an independent agent over a national one, such as national reach or indeed using a local high-street agent for cross sell opportunities, proved irrelevant in today’s Rightmove-led market. Claire offers a level of personal service that big chains can't match.

Firstly, I would give this estate agency a zero star if it was possible! I arranged a viewing and was met at the property by a member of staff - it turned out to be the business owner. The property was quite large and needed a reasonable amount of time to look around. During our visit, we noted Claire looking at her watch on at least seven occasions. Also, she had brought a child with her, who, whilst remaining in her vehicle, did make us wonder if this was the reason that Claire was "watching the clock" so to speak. All in all, we were there for just twenty minutes, but felt rushed. None the less, I placed an offer by email. I also asked further questions about the property which I had to chase by telephone and again by email. The telephone was unanswered more than once. By the time I got the answer, the property was sold. I did state that my offer would have been some £25,000 higher had I been furnished with the information that I had requested in a more timely manner. I'll also add that when talking to Claire, I did say "I can self convey and complete very quickly". Claire started laughing. She continued to laugh and I still do not know to this day what is amusing about either self conveying or completing quickly. See my review about another agent where we have completed in just seven weeks. I have complained to the agency and asked for their complaints procedure. That did arrive although that took time also. The response to my complaints is not adequate and has been forwarded to the Ombudsmen. Buying a property is no laughing matter, but Claire thinks it is funny. I was also kind enough to point out errors within the Rutley Clark website.

I worked with Claire at Rutley Clark to sell our house. They did a great job from start to finish - realistic and honest conversations about finding the right price to market, worked with me to stage the house to take a really fantastic set of photos, and also took careful input to write really strong copy for the adverts. Rutley Clark handled the viewings and always kept me in the loop with follow up, and once we found a buyer did a stellar job of actually converting that into the sale and getting that sale completed, which is undoubtedly the hardest part. 5 stars isn't enough for Claire :) My wife and I struggled to sell our house for over a year. We tried 3 different estate agents but we didn't get a single offer. Finally we came across Rutley Clark and took Claire on. Within a couple of weeks, we had an offer! (Which we accepted). Claire has a truly unique approach to selling houses. I have used many estate agents before, but none provided the service that Claire did. The photoshoot of the house showed off our house like no other agent could. This was more like an interior design photoshoot. Our house never looked so beautiful (because it was captured the right way). No wonder it sold so quick! If I could I would give Claire 6 stars. Claire is extremely professional and proficient in all aspects of the Estate Agency process and without doubt goes the 'extra mile'. She has now sold two of my properties that were, to say the least, 'challenging' proposals. We tried several high street multi branch estate agents that were deplorable compared to the service we received from Rutley Clarke. Claire cares about you, your house, the photographs, the advertising and even gets involved with surveyors and the legal fraternity, chivvying them on. All in all the best estate agent I have used. Claire is fantastic at what she does and that is SELL HOUSES. She is attentive, friendly, knowledgable and most of all, on the ball. Best thing about her business is she is Always there - she doesn't open at 9am and close at 5pm, if there is an email or a phone call to take or make, it doesn't matter what time of day it is. Great experience using open house Morley to sell my home, Claire was great and had a real passion for selling houses. In addition to this she was always available to give honest and sound advice when needed, listened to my needs and provided an excellent service which assured me the buyers were getting a great service too. Communication was excellent from the initial conversation all through to handing the buyers the keys and Claire made the whole experience a lot less stressful and instantly put me at ease knowing my sale was in her capable hands!
