GoogleOver the years, I've used Robinson Jackson across various locations to buy and sell properties with my business partner and have always had a pleasant experience. However, my recent encounter with Steve Perrin was horrendous and incredibly rude.
I called to book a viewing for a house we're hoping to purchase. Since I won't be in the country, my business partner, who would be jointly purchasing the home, planned to conduct the viewing with me on FaceTime. Steve Perrin blatantly refused to book a viewing for us unless both purchasers were present. I calmly explained that we've done this several times before, as we own a variety of properties, and usually one of us views in person while the other joins via FaceTime. Despite this, he was adamant and refused to book the viewing.
I am incredibly disappointed by this unprofessional and inflexible attitude. If I were a seller trying to sell my property, I would be appalled to think that prospective buyers are being turned away over such a rigid and unreasonable "policy," especially considering that many investors might live abroad and have representatives view on their behalf. This kind of behavior not only dissuades serious buyers but also tarnishes the reputation of Robinson Jackson.
Other consultants I've worked with at Robinson Jackson have been incredible, so this feedback is not about the entire team, but specifically about Steve Perrin. Homeowners should be wary of listing with him, as his approach could significantly hinder potential sales.

We are committed to providing an excellent service As you can see from other reviews Steve has received excellent feedback from clients so I am very surprised to read your own comments. We also log conversations onto our system and can see that on the property you had shown an interest in the viewing arrangements had been agreed with prior with the seller, one of them being that all purchasers are to be present on the appointments. This is not us having an inflexible attitude. I appreciate that you are not in the country and that you had wished to conduct a viewing over Facetime with your business partner but this would have gone against viewing arrangements already agreed with the seller. I know that you have felt this to be rigid but in not us being unreasonable. Steve had kept professional whilst explaining this to you. I can see that straight after your phone conversation with Steve, he advised the seller of your situation to see if they would give you an opportunity to view. Steve then called you back to book your viewing & left a voicemail whilst also sending you an email. Steve also left you another voicemail and sent a you text message later that afternoon. Steve tried contacting you four times that day to book your viewing but you did not respond. If you are still interested in arranging a viewing for this property or need any further assistance please call the office and we will be more than happy to help. GoogleWhen selling a property we had originally opted for a “competitor” agent but after 2 months and only one, alleged, viewing we opted to terminate that contract and appoint Robinson Jackson.
The difference in service was noticeable from the first point, improved marketing, regular updates and, more importantly, a much improved number of viewings and subsequent offers.
Ultimately the house sold and every engagement with the Orpington branch staff was good and objective. Everyone who worked with us on the sale of the property worked collectively as a team with the same objective.
Our biggest regret was that we didn’t appoint Robinson Jackson from the outset.
Special thanks to Steve for the continual updates and communications.
We would definitely recommend Robinson Jackson and would use them again.

It’s been a difficult sale over an extended period of time due to repairs issues and an insurance claim, but Steve kept in touch while it was ongoing. Once all was resolved and the property was back on the market, a buyer was found and the sale proceeded relatively quickly, with Steve and the team chasing and checking and updating me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
