Fantastic experience - our first time at auction and we came away with two properties. The agents were very friendly and helpful, viewings were a breeze. The bidding registration process was simple and bidding online was easy - though agents were very happy to offer telephone bidding if needed. We received a memorandum of sale instantly after payment and everything has been smooth. I thoroughly enjoyed our auction experience and hope to bid again in future auctions.

Absoultly excelent service from the Auction house. Read my story below.My parents were trying to sell some commercial properties they had owned for a while. We first went down the estate agent route and went with the ones who sounded like they knew what they were doing and gave a high valuation. We waited months and months with no joy or viewings. We then went with another estate agent and again waited months with nothing. We then contacted Brian at the Auction House, he came out and had a honest conversation with us about the valuations the estate agents had put on and set out what he thought they would be worth. We were a bit shocked at first but he was really patient and understanding with my parents and explained things really clearly. Properties are now all sold and the valuation brian predicted was pretty much spot on! Wished we went here first would have saved us a lot of time. Great service, thank you Auction House!

I was ecstatic with how quickly the property sold after being put into auction and the advisor recommended the correct price to sell. I had a great experience and I'm sure many other's have to. If could give this company 0 stars i would. The treatment i have received today off members of staff is disgusting. I was firstly lied to on the exchange of a contract when i purchased a property today (wed). i was told i would have to wait till Fri till i get the keys to a property i now own! I was called 20 mins later to say it had now been exchanged but have to wait till 9pm to get the keys. (The contract exchanged at 12pm) I was then spoken very rudely to and asked what 'my problem was with getting the keys at 9pm, at least they aren't in London'. Through out the calls i had with him he was was very abrupt, rude and used bullying tactics. My solicitors gave this person 2 deadlines to hand the keys over amd both times failed. the time is now 9.15 and i still have NO keys to the property i own. I wouldn't recommend buying a property off this company to anyone.

Great all-round experience had when selling my cottage. The communication was timely, friendly and informative. It made selling the place as easy as it could have been. Although the property didn’t sell at the first auction I was presented with options afterwards as to how best to proceed and then the following month at the very next auction it sold for a great price. Fantastic result and friendly service ( and great aftercare’ help communicating with the buyer on a couple of questions that were quicker to deal with like that than via solicitors) that made the whole experience so easy and I felt that the team really looked out for my best interests. Cheaters scammers disgusting people. Most of the properties they have sold already in other biggest auctions for very very cheap prices and not sold on top of it too much hidden charges .I don't understand which way without fake bidding they are selling it in this auction. I don't understand.

It is essential that all customers planning to buy at auction perform their own due diligence which includes thoroughly inspecting the legal pack and understanding what additional fees may apply to the the purchase. Avoid..It’s not the valuation === more waffle. Chris said he had a list of property developers/ builders to buy this property….Steven explain they did not …No viewings. No bids . No sale …Chris tells lies and waffles…Beware….. now my property has a red mark against it online …as unsold ……bad news …What a waste of time…The only advertising they do is put your property on Rightmove. And they charge you £250 or £500 for this plus 2% including taxes on the sale price ..Full of promise then full of waffle….Avoid…Ring round estate agent’s in the area as no one has a good word about how Chris works … He agrees a high reserve price then as no marketing is done so no response they want to lower the sales price I had no sale as not one viewing, not one bid ..just a load of waffle…

Unfortunately valuing a property, especially when we are aiming to sell things in just 4 weeks is not an exact science and sometimes we get it wrong. In this instance it does seem as though the price recommended was too high. The auction that your property was entered into achieved a success rate of 93% and these results can be viewed on the following link: https://www.auctionhouse.co.uk/westyorkshire/auction/past-auctions All our properties benefit from some of the most extensive marketing campaigns around and are listed on Rightmove, Zoopla, On The Market, Auction House UK and Manning Stainton websites. They also feature on our social media, mailshots and include floor plans, internal photographs and virtual tours. Your property also benefited from everything mentioned but sadly we just couldn’t get any bids on the day. We would be happy to enter your property into a 2nd auction at no extra charge but if this is not acceptable, we wish you every success in the future.

Spoke to a nice lady about selling a flat, she promised me the local auctioneer would call me back. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back on that occasion.However, Auction House have since reached out to me to apologise for the breakdown in communication which was much appreciated. Having double checked, I never did receive a voice message or call, but mistakes can happen, and they have been very professional in all interactions I have had with them to-date.

I have previously brought a flat with Auction House UK.So had no hesitation when I saw a property for sale with them again. They are very professional, and it is a quick and easy process. Instead of waiting for weeks with an estate agent. You know when the date of the auction is, if you are successful then you know that in two to four weeks the house will be yours.
