We purchased a Hartford 4 bed at Lawrence Gardens, Barton in mid December. On our 1st visit to the site, we were very impressed with the spacious open green spaces within the site and layout. We were shown the beautiful show houses by Haley and Debbie , who were very professional and answered all our questions and were very knowledgeable and helpful. The site location is perfectly situated on the A6 and close to the motorway junction for travelling. Hayley and Debbie kept us informed throughout the whole purchase process. When we moved in, the site managers Ian and Pete came to see us to check everything was ok and regularly knocked to see if we needed anything. They asked us to make a snag list (there was not much). Various tradesmen appeared over the next couple of weeks and all snags were completed , over and above. Everyone was so polite , helpful and clean workers. Since moving in, we have noticed how much effort goes into keeping the site clean and tidy , even a road sweeper each day on the roads. Ian the site manager is present when work is carried out and works very hard to make sure the site is always tidy for the residents who have already moved in. The house is very well designed and a pleasure to live in. We especially find useful the door leading from the utility into the garage. We would not hesitate in recommending Anwyl, we would buy off them again. We only wish they offered a five Bedroom. The whole site seems to run like clockwork, which can only be down to Ian , his team and their professionalism. Very impressed.

Fairways

Alex, Helen and Sarah at the fairways were very helpful throughout the whole process up until our exchange of contracts last week. The amount of communication was right with us being kept updated on each step without it being too much, and everyone was always really helpful when we had questions. The options appointment with Alex was really good as we were able to discuss what we wanted ourselves with him able to help advise if we needed it. I’ve bought a new build before from another builder which had issues but so far so good with Anwyl.

Alex is the man! Fairways Handforth (Buying process experience)

From one salesperson to another I must say the service that I received from Alex and the team was absolutely fantastic. I first got in touch with Alex on January 5th and by the 11th March, I was able to complete the process of purchasing my new house. Alex laid out timelines and expectations perfectly and kept myself and my family up to date step by step. Further to this, it was clear to see that Alex is an expert in his field. Alex and Helen were also fantastic with my parents as they were supporting me in the process and they have left the below note. "it was lovely being helped, advised by someone so passionate about their job. It certainly made our sons purchase easier"

Hidden defects and poor aftercare, Buyer Beware

After five years, we’ve discovered significant black mould on an exterior bathroom wall. An NHBC inspection confirmed this was caused by poorly installed and entirely missing insulation. Although we flagged this in our initial snagging report within the first year, and Anwyl claimed to have fixed it, it is now clear the work was never done correctly. Despite the NHBC confirming the defect, Anwyl is hiding behind the two-year warranty period to avoid responsibility for their original mistake. Disappointing service and poor build quality.

Everyone has been polite, supportive and professional

I have been in my new Anwyl home for a few months now and wish to write a review on my experience. Right from the outset I have found everyone I have dealt with to be polite, informative and helpful. When going through the sales process Sam followed by Hayley were with me every step of the way. Then once I had moved into my beautiful new home I have found the staff on site great. Ian the site manager and Peter have dealt with the few issues I had professionally keeping me informed of any progress, they have been very supportive, with nothing being too much trouble. In additionall the workmen on site have been really polite completing any work without mess or fuss. Thanks to all at Lawrence Gardens development.

Anwyl -you have nailed it! I absolutely love my home on the Eagles Green, Warrington site. The attention to detail in building my home has been ace. The team I have dealt with along the way to buying and moving in have been professional, competent and very easy to deal with. Recently moved into our gorgeous home…

Recently moved into our gorgeous home on the Tynddyn Bach site in Holyhead, courtesy of Anwyl Homes. Our move in date was the 22nd of December so as you can imagine Christmas was rather chaotic but was a lovely present to us. Our experience from reservation to completion was very professionally delivered and we were kept up to date throughout the build. I would like to thank Elizabeth for her patience with us and our never ending questions and requests to visit the build.My daughter & her boyfriend have also purchased their first home on the same estate with a completion date of April, again Elizabeth has been fantastic with them.I would also like to thank Jayne who played a huge roll ensuring our completion date was completed on time. At present we have not required any assistance from Anwyl’s after care service, if we do I hope we receive the same care we have received from their site sales representative.

When we moved in to our new home we were made up with everything, but I did come across a big issue with some of the brickworks and to be honest I had a big concern over this. I also had a few sleepless nights but Peter Giddins came around to assess it and assured me that everything would be put right. Also Jay and Neil kept me up to date about the procedures and how the brickwork was going to be rectified and to their word all the brickworks have been rectified now. All the work men on site have been more than helpful with us, so once again I would like to thank Peter Giddins, the Foremen and all the workers for all their support since moving in. Top Marks

Buy Anwyl, you will be delighted with your home

Purchased my first Anwyl home at Lea Green and would definitely recommend this builder. The process from start to finish has been extremely professional from Jane and Kelly. Thank you ladies for being so patient and accommodating. 😃After moving in we had been advised by Jay the site manager to start our snag list. The team on site have also been the best, from Jay getting the ball rolling to all the workman. One gentlemen stood out called Connor who gave us confidence that all the snagging would be sorted, he was so confident in the Anwyl team that it made us feel so much better. Connor was right and as soon as Jay got the list the jobs started to get sorted. Neil soon took over the list to ensure all the jobs got done when they said it would. I can’t praise the whole team enough and would recommend to anyone to buy an Anwyl home. Connor, Jay, Neil, Peter and all the workman thank you as we now live in a beautiful well built quality house, my dream home. 👏

An excellent job in fitting and painting a replacement side external door. He took great pride in his work, ensuring the minimum of mess was caused. Such was his precautions that very little was made. What mess he did make was cleared up before he left and the faulty door removed. He adopted a warm and friendly attitude and was very thorough in his work.

The Fairways Team at Anwyl Homes

I have lived on my plot at the Fairways for 6 months now and i have to say how fantastic the site manager Phil is he could not have been more accommodating whilst i have lived here and has assisted and rectified anything i have ask! His customer service has been second to none. I also want to say the service prior to moving into my house has also been fantastic and Helen was so helpful throughout the process
