We recently bought our new home through Elite Homes, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Helen went above and beyond, constantly communicating with everyone in the chain, keeping things moving, and making sure no detail was missed.
Even though we weren’t her direct clients, she treated us as if we were, helping to smooth out issues at the bottom of the chain, arranging multiple viewings, and keeping us updated every step of the way.

GoogleOur purchase of our Bungalow on Bulcote Drive was a fairly long adventure as we were the last in the chain of four. One in the chain had a DOV to sort out which added about 8 weeks on until we completed but although this became frustrating both myself and my wife Carol were very thankful we had Helen from Elite Homes to take us through the whole process and kept us informed of everything that was happening.

We decided to go back on the market several months later and engaged with Elite Homes.
Helen had lots of knowledge of the local area and went above and beyond to ensure we had the right potential buyers walking through the door.
Helen conducted the viewings in a professional manner and gave full feedback straight away, as well as the following that up the next day.
We soon had the right buyers after a lot of genuine interest.
After ending up in a lengthy chain, it became stressful but Helen went above and beyond
again, and was a huge help in keeping me sane! She worked up and down the chain knowing who the agents were and the legal side and checked in more than anyone ensuring nothing was missed and everyone was on the same page.

GoogleUnfortunately, our experience with this estate agent was disappointing. We were told that the seller would clear all rubbish from the garden before completion, but this did not happen. As a result, we had to arrange and pay for most of the clearance ourselves after moving in.
In addition, the agent was aware of an ongoing boundary issue connected to a neighbouring development but did not make us aware of it during the purchase process. We have since learned this may affect around 120m² of usable land. This information would have been important to us when deciding whether to proceed.
Overall, communication and transparency fell short of what we expected, and the situation has left us feeling let down. We would recommend that future buyers make thorough checks and ask detailed questions before proceeding.

Hi Manish, we are truly sorry that you feel this way, because we really enjoyed working together with you on this purchase, so this is hard to read now. We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
At each stage of the process, we passed on all your requests to the vendor and kept you informed. Even if it meant making ourselves available on Sunday, which we did.
During this process, you did four different surveys and everything you requested from these surveys was passed on to the vendor. Days before the completion, you and your builder met with the vendor, to do a final inspection of the property. We thought you were happy with everything.
On the 1st August, you completed on this purchase. To save you time as part of our service, we personally met you at the property with the keys, a handover document and a gift bottle of Champagne to celebrate this day.
Regarding the garden, all the information you sent us regarding the items you wanted cleared from the garden were passed on to the vendor. The vendor arranged for the removal of these items as agreed prior to completion. On the 2nd August, you sent a message saying that there were still things in the garden that you expected to be taken away. As the vendor was in the process of relocating at the time to Australia, we managed to persuade the contractor that the vendor had paid to clear the garden, to make another visit to the property a few days later and to meet up with you so you could let them know what you wanted moving. On the 23rd August, we messaged you to say, hope you're enjoying your new house, you responded by saying everything was fine.
It was only brought to our attention on 31st October 2025, 3 months after completion, that you were dissatisfied with what had been removed. Had this been raised earlier, we would of course have sought to assist where possible.
In relation to the boundary, we were not made aware by the vendor of any ongoing disputes at the time of the sale. As part of the conveyancing process, we rely on the buyers’ solicitors to carry out boundary checks and advise purchasers to confirm they are satisfied with all boundaries before exchange and completion.
When we spoke last week, you acknowledged that you were happy with our service. However these issues that we feel were outside of our control, are the reasons for this poor review. We would love to resolve this matter with you, happy to meet up and assist you wherever possible. We don't like having unhappy customers.
Once again, we are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and thank you again for sharing your comments, which we will reflect on going forward.

We had a fair number of legal issues with the property but Helen was right on it and quickly contacted the vendors to get things resolved. Helen and Paul were very professional throughout. The sales brochure stood out from the rest as did the photography. It was instrumental in helping us decide that this was the ONE.
Now, nearly 1 month later we have had much to do as the property had been left for many months. We are getting there though and really loving the house and location. The attention to detail that the Elite Homes team give to marketing a property is beyond compare.
